Artist Unite for Rock the Power Acoustic Benefiting You Have the Power

Kick start the Halloween weekend by supporting an organization that steps into the scariest situations to heal victims of violent crimes. Rock the Power Acoustic, hosted at the historic Factory of Franklin, proves to be a unique engagement of Nashville’s finest artists joining hands and voices for You Have the Power (YHTP).

Rock the Power Acoustic will feature performances from Baillie and the Boys, Linda Davis, Gary Morris, Jonell Mosser and Bryan White with additional special guests.

The concert starts at 7 PM on Thursday, October 28th at Liberty Hall within the historic Factory of Franklin. Tickets for the event start at $25 for general admission. To attend the preshow VIP reception with the performers and YHTP founder and First Lady of Tennessee Andrea Conte, purchase the VIP premium table seating with a generous $250 donation or one can acquire a full table for your organization or group for $2000.

Matt Gary Wins Digital Rodeo’s Second Annual Andy Griggs Celebrity Poker Tournament

Matt Gary took first place in the Andy Griggs Celebrity Poker Tournament at Cadillac Ranch last Thursday, June 10, during the 2010 CMA Music Festival. Sponsored by Digital Rodeo, this year’s tournament also featured blackjack and craps, with all winnings benefiting various charity organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the victims of the recent Middle Tennessee floods.

Participants included: Jeff Bates, Bo Bice, Jeremy Crady, Due West, Kevin Dyson, Chelsea Field, Matt Gary, Andy Griggs, Tuff Hedeman, Lucas Hoge, Mickie James, Buddy Jewell, Gary Morris, O’Shea, The Roys, Hollywood Yates and more.

Second Annual “Andy Griggs Celebrity Poker Tournament” June 10

Andy Griggs Celebrity Poker Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, June 10, at Cadillac Ranch in downtown Nashville.

Participants this year include: Casey Atwood, Stanton Barrett, Jeff Bates, Bo Bice, Bonnie Bishop, Due West, Kevin Dyson, Chelsea Field, Andy Griggs, Mickie James, Buddy Jewell, Mindy McCready, Gary Morris, Julie Roberts, The Roys and more. Chris Blair will serve as this year’s host. All tournament winnings benefit charity organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the victims of the recent Middle Tennessee floods.

The celebrity poker tournament kicks off at 2 p.m. inside downtown venue Cadillac Ranch, with blackjack and craps also available to the public as part of the event. Poker chips are provided as part of the entry fee. An acoustic guitar pull follows the tournament at 5 p.m., and an online auction will be held as well. All winnings from the poker tournament are for charity purposes only. No gambling is permitted at the Andy Griggs Celebrity Poker Tournament.
