Dierks Bentley Isn’t Sayin Who He’ll Be Cheering For

Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley is enjoying a couple days off at home with the family. He celebrated his latest No. 1 single, “Home” over the weekend after cheering on his wife, Cassidy, at the Music City Marathon on Saturday. This week, Dierks will be cheering on one of two teams as the Stanley Cup play-offs head to Nashville.

“I’m a Preds fan, I go to a lot of games, but I’m from Phoenix, and I love the Coyotes too. I don’t want to be a politician, but I’m excited for both cities. I’m going to the game Wednesday night, hope no one sees what jersey I’m wearing, I love them both. Been to a lot of Preds game, excited for both cities.”

So, my challenge to you all is…GET A PICTURE OF DIERKS IN WHICHEVER JERSEY HE’S SPORTIN!!

Dierks Bentley Celebrates “Home”

Dierks Bentley

Yesterday, Dierks Bentley shut-down his favorite meat n’ three to celebrate his latest No. 1 song, “Home.” Dierks has always considered Arnold’s Country Kitchen a second home of sorts, so he thought it was the perfect place to celebrate the success of his single that represents homes of all kinds.

We try to have fun, make it unique, make it special. This place, you get a home cooked meal, for years it was my second home. I go here to eat a lot, it’s like my family, plus it’s easier to listen to speeches after people eat. Everyone was quiet, too tired because of the food.”

“Home” has hit a chord with just about everyone who hears it for different reasons.

“It’s one of those songs, you got a good one in your back pocket, walk on stage when you get to that one it’ll get the same reaction every night, a feeling of pride, unity, and the crowd goes crazy for it. It’s great to have it in the show, it goes to a third dimension we haven’t had before, I’m honored to be the guy singing it.”

Dierks Bentley video shoot

Dierks Bentley is gonna get dirty in his upcoming music video for his latest single, “5-1-5-0.” Folks of all ages flocked to The Big Nasty ATV/Motocross Park in Bloomingdale, GA over the weekend to play in the mud and help Bentley film.

The video will feature footage of people having a good ole time muddin’ and some footage of Bentley playing in the back of a pick-up truck.

It’s pretty sweet, man,” Josh Collins said, fresh out of a ride through the mud pit on his ATV. “It’s pretty cool to have Dierks Bentley in your truck.” Josh’s pick-up was selected as the “stage” for Dierks to perform on.

The video for “5-1-5-0″ will premier in about a month. You can see more photos at SavannahNow.com.

Dierks, Miranda, Blake, & More to Play 1st Ever Watershed Festival!

Watershed

Live Nation Entertainment is leading the charge for a new country festival where the music and atmosphere will rival the serene, natural beauty of the landscape. Watershed Music Festival will take place August 3rd, 4th and th5 at the iconic Gorge Amphitheatre and is set to feature a versatile lineup of artists, camping, late night sets, impromptu jam sessions, collaborations and more. Located east of Seattle, the Gorge Amphitheatre provides a picturesque backdrop for the laid back, country vibe O’Connell has envisioned for this truly unmatched festival. Three-day festival passes start at only $90 and go on sale Sat., May 5th at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

“The Gorge provides a feeling that is impossible to recreate anywhere else,” said O’Connell. “It is truly a magical place and provides the perfect setting for a cool, eclectic country event. We wanted to create something that didn’t exist, from the caliber of artists to the camping and the atmosphere. I’m excited to be a part of it and see it all come together.”

“In the storied 25 year history of The Gorge, we’ve been fortunate to host many of the nation’s top country artists, but all have been single day concerts,” said Jeff Trisler, President of Live Nation Seattle. “For years, we’ve wanted to host a multiple day country festival that builds on the tremendous success for our annual Sasquatch Music Festival and Dave Matthews Band residency. We believe this event will bring that same sort of excitement and energy to The Gorge for an entirely new group of music fans.”

Artists confirmed for the multi-day country fest include Dierks Bentley, Kix Brooks, Sara Evans, Brantley Gilbert, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Thompson Square, Uncle Kracker, Dwight Yoakam, Tracy Lawrence, Reckless Kelly, The Lost Trailers, Steve Holy, Johnny Reid, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Morgan Frazier, DeeJay Silver and a local stage will feature regional acts each night. More artists are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Gorge Amphitheatre, located in George, Wash., is undoubtedly one of the most scenic concert venues in the world and offers sweeping views of the Columbia River Gorge. The area itself is a watershed for the Columbia River, thus inspiring the name of the event. The Watershed Music Festival will feature a limited capacity of 25,000 and will offer lawn terrace seating and premiere camping options. The amphitheatre has been the home of many historic concerts from bands such as Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Van Halen, Rush, Radiohead, Tim McGraw, Aerosmith, Metallica, Rascal Flatts, John Mayer, The Police, Brad Paisley, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the annual Sasquatch! Music Festival.
