Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gates Nichols family.  Gates was battling pancreatic cancer and passed away just after midnight this morning.

Gates Nichlos played steele guitar for Confederate Railroad for many years.  Last week he was dignosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and it has spread to several of his organs.
