Eddie Montogmery’s Steakhouse Opens With a Little Help from His Friends

On Tuesday, September 14th, Eddie Montgomery, family, and friends joined to celebrate the official Grand Opening of Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse, in support of the charity Camp Horsin’ Around.

With the restaurant motto, “SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF!” the evening did not disappoint, providing the capacity crowd with phenomenal food and a star-studded jam, hosted by Eddie and wife Tracy Montgomery. Eddie Montgomery kicked off the celebration with “Lucky Man,” and the entertainment continued through the early morning hours including performances by John Michael Montgomery, Craig Morgan, Ira Dean, Colt Ford, Billy Dean, Danny Shirley of Confederate Railroad, The Roys, and Animal Planet TV host Lucas Hoge.

“A smile on your face, a great meal in your belly, and a tune in your heart is what the Eddie Montgomery Steakhouse promises,” says Eddie Montgomery.

Lookout for Eddie Montgomery’s appearance on CMT’s Southern Fried Flicks with Hazel Smith on October 17th, as well as an upcoming feature on the restaurant in Country Weekly Magazine. GAC’s Headline Country with Storme Warren recently visited Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse, and will feature the restaurant in an upcoming episode.

CHEVY RIDE AND DRIVE
Country music fans will get the opportunity to test drive a Chevy vehicle and support flood relief at the same time. The Chevy Ride and Drive is located on Fifth Avenue between Broadway and Demonbreun Street and will take place Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13, from 10:00am to 6:00pm CST. Attendees will test drive the Chevy vehicle of their choice and Chevy will donate $10 for every test drive to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to help provide disaster relief for victims of the recent floods.

CHEVY TICKET UPGRADE
Music fans will have an opportunity to win a ticket upgrade to the Nightly Concerts at LP Field. Throughout the Festival, fans can text CHEVY to 66937 for a chance to win the best seats in the house at LP Field.

Chevy Hosts CMA Fest Block Party & Parade!!!

Chevy: The Official Ride of Country Music, will kick-off the 2010 CMA Music Festival, on Wednesday, June 9th, with “The Sixth Annual CMA Music Festival Kick-Off Parade” at 11:30 AM/CT, followed by “The Fifth Annual CMA Music Festival Block Party” at 1:00 PM/CT.

With Brenda Lee as Grand Marshal, other artists participating include Lynn Anderson, Katie Armiger, Rodney Atkins, The Band Perry, Bo Bice, Ash Bowers, Carter Twins, Jeff Cook, Diana DeGarmo, Fast Ryde, Colt Ford, Brantley Gilbert, Gloriana, Josh Gracin, The Grascals, The Harters, Buddy Jewell, KingBilly, Jesse Lee, LoCash Cowboys, Lonestar, Jerrod Neimann, James Otto, Danielle Peck, Point of Grace, Marty Raybon, Pam Tillis, Trent Tomlinson, and Chuck Wicks.

Beginning at the corner of Church Street and Second Avenue, the procession will travel down Second Avenue to Broadway, turn right onto Broadway and end at Sixth Avenue. Following the parade, “The Fifth Annual CMA Music Festival Block Party” will take place on the Chevy Music Stage on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza (at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Broadway). Free and open to the public, the lineup includes:

Country Crossing Offers Up a HUGE Grand Opening

Country Crossing announces artists to perform during its three-day grand opening event, January 15-17, 2010. Headliners for the event include Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley, Lorrie Morgan and John Anderson, who all have interests in the development. All live shows will be free to the public.

“As we’ve said all along, Country Crossing will provide first-class country music entertainment and this lineup is just the beginning,” says Ronnie Gilley, president, Ronnie Gilley Entertainment and developer of Country Crossing. “Our grand opening will be nothing short of spectacular, and we are looking forward to many more great performances in the months and years to come.”

“This is the first time in history that 20 artist, with a combined 120 million record sales and 66 No. 1 hits, will perform in three days at one venue – all free to the public,” adds Gilley. “You won’t have to go to a big city anymore to find high-caliber entertainment. Charlie Daniels Celebrity Golf Tournament

Charlie Daniels Celebrity Golf tournament

This weekend Charlie Danielswas joined by some very special friends in Tampa, Florida for his annual celebrity golf tournament.  The event is in it’s 19th year and benefits The Angelus. The Angelus, based in Hudson, Florida, is an assisted living facility for handicapped people; the corresponding golf and poker events make up the home’s primary fundraising.

Trent Tomlinson, Matt Gary, Lee Brice, The Marshal Tucker Band, and Confederate Railroad joined Charlie this year.
