Kellie Picklers New Reality Show to Premier on CMT in November!

kellie and jacob

CMT today announced the updated premiere for the highly anticipated docu-comedy “I Love Kellie Pickler,” starring Kellie Pickler and her husband, Kyle Jacobs, on Thursday, November 5th at 10 pm ET/PT.

“When my husband co-wrote a song titled ‘Ain’t No Cure for Crazy’ and said it was meant just for me, I had to wonder,” said Pickler in a playful manner. “We know how crazy our life is with both of us being in the entertainment business and all that it entails while trying to maintain a somewhat ‘normal’ marriage. It’ll be fun to let the rest of the world see into that window of our life.”

“Kellie and I have been together almost 8 years now, and we have written songs together and worked in the studio together but this is a whole new, crazy experience!” said Jacobs. “I hope the cameras were able to capture how much we love each other, how much we love to laugh, and how much we love living life with our friends…because to us, our friends are family. That’s who we are and what we want our viewers to experience with us.”

“Since her days on ‘American Idol’ Kellie has captured the hearts of many with her pretty smiles, good humor and spirited personality,” said Executive Producer Ryan Seacrest. “Like Kellie herself, this new show has lots of heart. CMT is the perfect home for this show, which will take audiences on a relatable journey with Kellie and her husband Kyle as they navigate life through work, music, friends and family.”

Recognized and beloved for her fun-loving personality, uniquely hysterical witticisms and Southern charm, “I Love Kellie Pickler” will follow Kellie as she navigates her madcap relationships with friends, family and the unpredictability of couple hood alongside her husband, Kyle Jacobs, her complete opposite.

CMA Songwriters Series Partners with CMT Canada for Special TV Event

CMA partnered with CMT Canada to film a special CMA Songwriters Series presentation that will air as a one-hour broadcast on the channel this fall, as well as a syndicated radio special.

The taping took place Wednesday night in Toronto at The Great Hall, a historic venue located in the thriving music and arts district of Toronto’s Queen Street West. This is the first time CMA and CMT Canada have partnered to present a television event.

Artists and songwriters Kristian Bush, Deric Ruttan, Ron Sexsmith, and Josh Turner performed during the celebration of songs and scribes, which was filmed in front of an exclusive invite-only audience of industry movers and Country Music super fans.

The CMA Songwriters Series has been presenting the very best of Country Music’s songwriters, whose hits are known worldwide, since 2005. CMA Songwriters Series shows are intimate presentations where songwriters can exhibit their craft and share many of the stories behind the songs they have penned.

The expansion of the CMA Songwriters Series to Canada marks a growing interest in the CMA Songwriters Series internationally as the series builds on previous shows in Dublin, London, and Paris as CMA seeks to recognize and recruit Country Music fans globally.
