Clint Black’s “Galaxy Song” Makes History with NASA

This past weekend, Clint Black received a message on his Twitter page from NASA. He discovered his “Galaxy Song” song was played to wake the crews of Endeavour and Expedition 28.

The message was:  via @NASA_FB

“Astronauts and space station crew awoke to ‘Galaxy Song’ by Clint Black, played for the entire crew on their last day at station.”

A very emotional Clint Black tweeted,

“As a child, I dreamed of being an astronaut. And now one of my songs is an astronaut. I hope they gave it some Tang.”

iTunes downloads for “Galaxy Song” have soared, and Clint has been added to the line-up of the CMA Fest, where it’s expected he’ll perform “Galaxy Song.”

Trace Adkins Take on Why Cowboys do Well on Celebrity Apprentice

Trace Adkins has a theory why country singers who have been on “Celebrity Apprentice” have done so well.

He says, quote, “probably the best thing that we have going for us, and I’m speaking for country people in general when we’re put in those situations, nobody expects anything of us.” He says because of that false notion, “we go in with those low expectations and then when we perform the way we do, I think we sneak up on them.”

Trace Adkins came in second on the first “Celebrity Apprentice.” Clint Black came in fifth in a later season. And, John Rich is continuing to do very well this season.
