It’s time to Deck the Hall: The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is gearing up for the holiday season with a sleigh full of programs and events for the whole family, limited-edition holiday posters from Hatch Show Print and money-saving offers from the Museum Store.
The festivities will officially kick off on Friday, November 25, with the lighting of the museum’s Christmas tree; hit recording artist Jimmy Wayne will be on hand to lead the festivities and perform. Musical performances will be plentiful in the weeks ahead, including concerts by Grammy and CMA Award winner Suzy Bogguss, who will perform a mix of holiday tunes and songs recorded with and/or inspired by Chet Atkins on December 10 (This program is presented in conjunction with the museum’s exhibition Chet Atkins: Certified Guitar Player.); and Riders in the Sky, who will bring holiday cheer with a seasonal concert on December 17. And, on December 3 and 10, Hatch Show Print staff will offer one of the museum’s most popular family programs, Make Letterpress Art with Hatch Show Print. Youths aged six to 18 will be able to design their own holiday card using wood blocks from the Hatch archive. Many programs are free; others are included with museum admission and free to museum members. Additional details and a comprehensive list of all museum holiday-themed programs and events are below.
Additionally, visitors who present a Tennessee drivers license Nov. 25 – Dec. 31 will receive $5 off of the purchase of an adult general admission ticket.
