Celebrate the holidays with some of the biggest names in music performing holiday classics on “CMA Country Christmas,” a two-hour special hosted for the fifth year by Jennifer Nettles airing Monday, Dec. 1st (8:00-10:00 PM/ET) on ABC.

The special, which tapes in front of a live audience Friday, Nov. 7 (7:00 PM/CT), at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., is a star-packed celebration of the season with performances by Alan Jackson, and Brad Paisley adding his blazing guitar work to a performance by rock ‘n’ roll royalty Steven Tyler.

Artists previously announced include Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Sara Evans, Lucy Hale, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Idina Menzel, Nettles, LeAnn Rimes, Michael W. Smith, and Carrie Underwood.

For the third year, audience members are being encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the taping to help make the holidays brighter for Nashville area children.

“Our toy drive adds something special to the celebration shining a spotlight on a worthy endeavor in a way that reflects the values and giving nature of our artists, the industry, and this city,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer.

The Nashville-based, non-profit group Generosity will have volunteers on site at the Bridgestone Arena plaza with specially marked bins to collect toys beginning at 5:00 PM/CT on Nov. 7. In 2013, the group collected more than 5,000 toys.

Hosted for the seventh consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, Country Music’s Biggest Night™ will also feature superstar performances by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, Paisley, Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, Underwood, and Keith Urban.

Grande will be joining two-time CMA Vocal Group of the Year Little Big Town for an on-air collaboration. Within less than a year, Grande captured No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 twice—first with her Republic Records debut Yours Truly and also with its 2014 follow-up My Everything.

Trainor will team up with nine-time nominee and reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Lambert. This dynamic duo’s performance of Trainor’s “All About That Bass” is sure to be a must see moment. Singer/songwriter Trainor has written songs for such stars as Rascal Flatts before skyrocketing to success with her international hit “All About That Bass,” which has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the past six weeks.

While Hale made her mark early on as an actress, best known for her role on the hit ABC Family drama “Pretty Little Liars,” music was always her first love. The Memphis born and bred singer’s debut album, Road Between, was released by DMG Nashville on June 3 and features her brand new single, “Lie A Little Better.” Hale will also be performing on “CMA Country Christmas,” a two-hour special airing Monday, Dec. 1 (8:00-10:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Winners of “The 48th Annual CMA Awards” will be determined in a final round of voting by eligible voting members of the Country Music Association. CMA Awards balloting is officiated by the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Voting for the CMA Awards final ballot ends Monday, Oct. 27 (5:00 PM/CT).

“The 48th Annual CMA Awards” is a production of the Country Music Association. Robert Deaton is the Executive Producer, Paul Miller is the Director, and David Wild is the writer. The special will be shot in high definition and broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound.

Boot Barn, America’s largest western and work wear store, announced yesterday that it has partnered with country music superstar, Brad Paisley, to develop an exclusive line of boots, jeans, hats, T-shirts, jewelry, belts and woven shirts. Called Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley, the new line will blend Boot Barn’s western heritage with a modern, country music edge.

“We specifically chose Brad Paisley to create this line, because his values align beautifully with those of our customers and employees,” said Jim Conroy, Boot Barn’s chief executive officer. “He is authentic, and that’s the essence of every Boot Barn customer.”

“Boot Barn attracts customers from all walks of life, from ranchers and cowboys to those in the construction and energy industries,” said Jayme Maxwell, Boot Barn’s vice president of marketing. “Generally speaking, those customers also love country music. Add to that Brad Paisley’s appeal, and Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley is the perfect union of those influences. This partnership is an exact fit for Boot Barn and a very exciting expansion of our product assortment.”

Aimed at males aged 18-40 seeking clothing with a contemporary fit, Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley, his first foray into clothing, will feature casual and dressier merchandise, including boots, shirts, jeans, cowboy hats, T-shirts, ball caps and a leather jacket. Prices range from $20 for baseball caps to $299 for the leather jacket.

“Boot Barn and I have created what I think is an authentic and very wearable line of country clothing,” said Paisley. “It’s hip, modern, progressive, rugged and country—ready for the stage and ready to go out on the town. It’s a great time to launch Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley. It embodies the enthusiasm of my new album, ‘Moonshine in the Trunk.'”

“Like Brad Paisley’s music, Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley conveys the historical roots inherent in boots and western wear along with the modern edginess Brad is known for,” said Bill Costa, Boot Barn’s director of product development and design. “Brad appeals to fans of many music genres, and this line is a reflection of that. This line definitely stretches Boot Barn’s merchandise aesthetic.”

The Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley collection will debut at the grand opening of the Nashville, Tenn., Boot Barn store on October 24, 2014, and will be online and in all Boot Barn stores December 1.
