9. Last weekend was the ACM awards and country took over Vegas.  It was good for Kristian Bush, but not so much for the @RRBchoir (Randy Rogers Band) “Last day in Vegas. Thank God. I’m the worlds worst gambler. Kenny Rogers would be ashamed.”

8. @KelliePickler has always supported our troops and I think this tweet summarizes the thoughts of many Americans right now! “perhaps we ship the dirty politicians overseas and let them stand on the front line.-without pay.”

9. This week was also host to the Hallmark holiday Valentine’s Day.  Austin from @SonsOfSylvia tweeted a famous saying that I hope I don’t have to hear in my lifetime! “‘Tis better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all………well that’s depressing………Happy Valentine’s Day. Austin”

Blaine Larsen Won’t Be “Leavin’” Anytime Soon! – New Music Weekend

Blaine Larsen may be desscribed as a “newcomer” but he has actually released two albums and has had many singles in the Top 100 of the US Country Charts.

Listening to the previews of Blaine’s previous CD’s on iTunes I can’t believe he hasn’t already made a mark in the country market! With a third CD on the way via Stroudavarious Records, listen for Blaine’s latest single “Leavin’” on your local radio station

“Leavin’” tells the story of someone who needs to leave their old life and start new. It has someone heading out and getting as far away as they can. “Leavin’” is one of the best songs by a newcomer to hit the airwaves in a while in my opinion! It has a great story along with amazing lyrics.
