Ben Coulter – New Music Weekend

From the swamps, cotton fields, and railroad tracks of the Arkansas Delta comes a new bluesman and a new mix of Country music and Delta Blues. With a mixture of artists who has influenced Ben, such as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Ben Coulter takes smooth vocals, steady harmonica, and a rockin’ acoustic guitar to produce a style being called Country Music…Delta Style.

I’m a Razorback Fan
Ben is obviously a die-hard Arkansas Razorback fan. He was born with a “Hogs” hat on his head, and the first words that he said was “Go Hogs Go!” There’s not too many Arkansans who aren’t Razorback fans. This song is great! Of course, I’m going to like it, because “I’m a Razorback Fan”, too. WOOOO PIG SOOOIE!

You Don’t Have to Remind Me
This is a song dedicated in memory of Ben’s father who passed away when Ben was really young. Even though it was many years ago, Ben claims that he doesn’t have to be reminded to remember him because he can see his father’s face each time he looks in the mirror. He thinks about him everyday, and knows that he is always with him. Anyone who has lost a father or mother should be able to relate to this song with it’s heartfelt lyrics.
