Bucky Covington Returns With “I Wanna Be That Feeling”

Bucky Covington

Season five “American Idol” alumni Bucky Covington is back on country radio with his first single since his former record label, Lyric Street Records, closed in 2010. Now signed with Entertainment One, Bucky is ready to give his fans a taste of what he’s been working on with his brand new single “I Wanna Be That Feeling.”

Having had much success with songs such as “A Different World” and “It’s Good To Be Us,” Bucky is excited to be back on the airwaves with a new single that he hopes will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors. It’s a fun song with its own unique groove and I think it will do well for him. It’s got that signature Bucky sound, but it also reflects his growth as an artist since the first record came out in 2007.

The single is available now on iTunes and Amazon if you don’t want to wait until the record comes out.

To learn more about Bucky and see what he’s been up to, check out his web site and keep up with him via social networking.

Country Music “American Idol” Auditions

A guy who sort of sounds like Scotty McCreery was on last night’s “American Idol.” The auditions were in Aspen, Colorado. His name is Richie Law. The judges gave him a ticket to Hollywood.

Then there’s a girl named Shelby Tweten. She got a golden ticket after singing Carrie Underwood’s “Temporary Home.” Tweten says she recently was diagnosed as bipolar. She’s says she’s suffered with depression since the fourth grade and says Idol gave her a reason to stay on her meds.

Tonight’s Idol auditions are from Houston.

American Idol Sends Another Country Artist to Hollywood

Wolf just might be the next “American Idol.” Jason “Wolf” Hamlin of Livermore, California, was the last to audition on last night’s show. He’s a mechanic who sang “Midnight Special” and “Folsom Prison Blues.” Wolf just might have a secret weapon. He played his “git-fiddle,” a hand-made guitar built by his late father. The auditions move to Aspen, Colorado, on Wednesday’s show.
