Clear Channel, the leading media company in America with a greater reach than any radio or television outlet, today announced the return of the popular iHeartRadio Music Festival, the biggest live concert event in radio history – another two-day, star-studded festival, hosted at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 21 and 22, 2012.

The 2011 inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival featured performances and one-of-a-kind collaborations from some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Steven Tyler, The Black Eyed Peas, Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Sting, Carrie Underwood, Jane’s Addiction, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Sublime with Rome and Jeff Beck. The 2012 performance line-up will be announced this summer, and media powerhouse Ryan Seacrest will again be one of the event’s hosts.

“When we introduced the iHeartRadio Music Festival in 2011, we set out to deliver a groundbreaking, must-see live music event that would take our listeners and the music industry by storm, and, like our iHeartRadio digital service, showcase top artists across all genres of music,” said Bob Pittman, Clear Channel CEO. “The overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural festival made it clear that history shouldn’t just repeat itself — we should strive to make it an even better experience for music fans. A deep love for music continues to be the heart of everything we do, and our goal this year is to over-deliver on our listeners’ expectations while showcasing the unmatched power of Clear Channel’s reach and integrated media and entertainment capabilities.”
