We’re All for the Hall Rescheduled for April

Keith Urban All for the Hall

Keith Urban and Vince Gill, this year joined by an all-star lineup of some of country music’s most loved groups, will return to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday, April 10, for a concert to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. Reserved seating tickets, which are priced at a family friendly $25 and $35 (does not include Ticketmaster surcharge), will go on sale January 27 at 10:00 a.m. A limited number of VIP ticket packages will also go on sale on January 27th at Ticketmaster.com. (Complete ticket purchase information is below.)

The show—which will feature performances from an all-star line-up including Urban, Country Music Hall of Fame members Vince Gill and Alabama, Alison Krauss & Union Station, The Band Perry, Blue Sky Riders, Diamond Rio, Exile, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, The Oak Ridge Boys, Pistol Annies, Rascal Flatts and Thompson Square—again promises to be a one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime evening of music, friendship and camaraderie.

“My goal for the concert, is really the same as the halls’,” said Urban. “To help country fans connect the dots – to find out where their music came from, how it’s evolved (and is still evolving) and to hear the artists that have influenced their favorite artists. Country music is like a big beautiful strange family tree and nowhere is that more honored than at the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum.”

All for the Hall is the museum’s first-ever non-bricks-and-mortar fundraising initiative. The campaign addresses the not-for-profit educational institution’s need for long-term financial security and provides a safety net for its work. Through ongoing exhibit schedules, scholarly publications and hundreds of school and family programs annually, the museum teaches its audiences about the enduring beauty and cultural importance of country music. Museum Board President Gill created and has led the institution’s All for the Hall fundraising initiative since 2005.

“The first two We’re All for the Hall concerts have been landmarks for this institution,” said Museum Director Kyle Young. “They have been the most successful fundraisers in the museum’s history, together raising roughly $1 million. And they have not only set a new standard for fundraising and event coordination, but also brought together an entire community and helped us to see what can be done by individuals when there is a collective passion for a cause.”

Tickets ($25 and $35, plus Ticketmaster surcharge) go on sale January 27 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, the Bridgestone Arena box office or by phone at (800) 745-3000. Phone, internet and outlet orders are subject to a convenience fee.

Lynyrd Skynyrd Celebrates Grand Opening of Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer in Las Vegas

<<enter caption here>> on December 8, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The grand opening of Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer (www.LynyrdSkynyrdLV.com) wouldn’t have been complete without Lynyrd Skynyrd rockin’ the house as they opened their first venue at Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last night. Baseball’s Jose Canseco, Grammy-Award winner, famed trumpeter and pianist, Arturo Sandoval, Carlos Fuente, jr., president of Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia, championship bull riders Beau Hill and Rocky McDonald, Playmate and star of E!’s “Holly’s World” and Excalibur’s Night School 4 Girls, Laura Croft, and the casts of FANTASY, including headliner, Lorena Peril, and Thunder From Down Under, took in the Southern rockers as they played “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Gimme Three Steps,” and more.

Brett Eldredge at Lynyrd Skynyrd

The week-long celebration included the official American Country Awards after-party on Monday, Dec. 5, with country newcomer, Brett Eldredge, and band members from Thompson Square and No Doubt in attendance.

Jack Daniel’s hosted an “Eat ‘N’ Greet” lunch with Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke and Gary Rossington from Lynyrd Skynyrd, as well as the rest of the band, at 12:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon. Also in attendance was Jeff Arnett, the 17th Master Distiller in history for the iconic bourbon. Guests enjoyed photos and conversation with the band as they dined on ribs, jalapeno cheddar sausage, chicken, mashed potatoes and more. Van Zant’s favorites were the brisket and mac & cheese, as Medlocke noted that the pecan pie was the best he’s ever had.

The food itself is of legendary status, with a menu developed in partnership with Kreuz Market, a 111-year-old Lockhart, Tex. institution. The barbecue at Kreuz Market has consistently been named the best in the country.

A portion of proceeds from the grand opening concert will be donated to the Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas, the Lynyrd Skynyrd Foundation and Nevada Children’s Medical Center.

Las Vegas-based Michael Frey and Craig Gilbert of Drive This! Entertainment came together with Lynyrd Skynyrd to develop Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer, a concept they plan to expand into other cities.

Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer serves mouthwatering ribs, brisket, chicken and more. Open daily for lunch and dinner, the restaurant and bar transforms into a late-night, high-energy rock club every night with great music and entertainment.
