The Harters are wasting no time in 2011, kicking off the year with their very first music video for their new single, “If I Run.” Directed by Wes Edwards (Jason Aldean), the video was shot at Nashville’s Riverwood Mansion and utilizes stop-motion photography to depict the passage of time in the song’s lyrics.

The Harters – “If I Run” – New Music Weekend

This new single by the Harters is a wonderful love song about true love and the questions about whether or not love will stay and if the lovers will “run” after each other. The harmonies are true and easy and the music is melodious and catchy. This ballad asks the questions all lovers want to know about being a bit scared and “running” from the relationship and if the other will run after them, wait, and still be around in years to come. The song is soft but strong in content, harmony and tempo.

The trio is comprised of two brothers , Michael and Scott and one sister, Leslie, which may be why their harmonies are so meshed with one another. The trio was based in Arizona, and the family trio started singing together in 2005 after several years of pursuing careers independently. They also recorded a song in March 2010, “Jenny” which debuted on Billboard at #54.

They are preparing a video on “If I Run” and you can hear and download the song on http://theharters.tv/ and you can also find them on MySpace at www.myspace.com/theharters. “If I Run” is available as a download as is all of their other songs.
