Stealing Angels Help Raise Awareness for Animal Emergency Services

When disaster strikes, leaving communities in peril, even the most beloved companion animals can be left behind. American Humane Association’s 82-foot-long Red Star Rescue Rig is responding to the disasters in Memphis and Joplin, saving animals affected by floods and tornadoes. This summer, Stealing Angels will lend their voices to Red Star’s 100-year effort to protect animals and communities in danger. A multi-city tour will kick off in Washington, D.C. on June 9 with the Red Star Rescue Rig and Stealing Angels. The awareness tour will continue down the east coast (Hurricane Alley) and then cross over to the Gulf coast and end up in Texas at the end of the summer. Fans can be part of the giving and support efforts to provide aid to animal victims of disaster by texting PROTECT to 85944 to donate $10.

“The stars of Stealing Angels are our newest heroes,” said Dr. Robin R. Ganzert, president and CEO of American Humane Association. “Each of the singers is descended from one of America’s bona fide folk heroes and Caroline, Jennifer and Tayla are following in the footsteps of their illustrious forebears. By supporting our Red Star efforts, Stealing Angels have truly become guardian angels to thousands of desperate families and animals affected by the kinds of disasters we’re now seeing on the evening news. On behalf of the vulnerable and the voiceless who rely on our help, thank you for lending your strength and your beautiful voices!”

“Paper Heart,” the new song from dynamic trio Stealing Angels is produced by Paul Worley and written by Gordie Sampson, Hillary Lindsey, and Steve McEwan. Music Row describes the tune as “…perfectly lovely on this soaring, melodic, heartache-with-tempo outing.” “Paper Heart” is currently climbing the country charts and available for fans to purchase here http://bit.ly/l0GJDe and at all digital outlets.
