Miranda Lambert Moves The Pink Pistol Home & Blake Shelton Calls Dibs

pink pistol

Miranda Lambert will be putting her eclectic lifestyle boutique, The Pink Pistol all under one roof in her hometown of Lindale, Texas. The flagship store will be moving to a newer and bigger location beginning of August. The new location will have a larger inventory, more “Miranda’ize” merchandise, and unique shopping opportunities for her fans. The Pink Pistol in Tishomingo, Oklahoma will close.

Having all her passions and endeavors (outside of music) in Lindale has been a goal for Miranda. Her foundation, MuttNation Foundation that she started with her Mom, Bev, is based in Lindale. Their passion and commitment to helping rescue dogs, to educate the public about shelter dog adoptions and providing funds to no-kill shelters in all 50 states started at the family kitchen table in Lindale.

Miranda expressed, “It feels full circle to have everything under one ‘roof’ basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale. I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store. Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home.”

The current Pink Pistol Texas store is located at 100 E. Hubbard in Lindale, TX until the opening of the new flagship store beginning of August, so plan your Labor Day Road Trip now! The store will be located at The Cannery, on 120 E North Street, Lindale, TX, a mixed use development complex with retail, fast casual and experiential dining as well as residential lofts. Stay tuned for more details soon.

However, Oklahoma’s former Pink Pistol location won’t be vacant for long.  Blake Shelton confirmed on Twitter that he’s purchased the space, and big things are in the works.

Miranda Lambert Brings the Heat on Opening Weekend of “Keeper of the Flame Tour”

The reigning queen of country music demonstrated why she wears the crown,” Amanda S. Amand of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch raved of Miranda Lambert’s Keeper of the Flame Tour opening set on Friday, May 13th at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Mo. with openers Kip Moore and Brothers Osborne. Perhaps that’s why a storm rolled in just an hour into Lambert’s set, mother nature’s way of offsetting the heat radiating from the seven-time Female Vocalist of the Year’s first tour stop of the season.

“I am so ready!” Lambert shared with the packed house amidst her exhilarating 20-song set that included a few unexpected twists like covers of “Covered Wagon” (Danny O’Keefe), “Slow Ride” (Foghat) and “Willin’” (Little Feat), which received a rousing response from the crowd. Lambert also surprised fans with an jazz style cover of Ella Fitzgerald’s “Your Red Wagon” to lead into her fiery hit single, “Little Red Wagon.”

Supporting act, Kip Moore “… showcased the harder edged sound he is know for” with “His raspy voice perfect for the crossover sound his trying to achieve,” according to Sean Derrick for ACM-nominated duo, Brothers Osborne also shared the stage to bring the crowd their hit single “Stay a Little Longer,” and others in the brothers’ easily recognizable style. “Singer T.J. Osborne’s full-throated baritone gets brilliant backing from John Osborne’s guitar,” praised the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, “and both shine on the rollicking number they closed with, ‘It Ain’t My Fault.’”

“The crowd’s energy was just incredible. I told them I could feel the rain making its way to the stage, but they didn’t leave,” Lambert said after the rain and chilly temperatures began whipping those seated in the lawn section outside the shed around 10:20 pm—just an hour into her set. With arsenal still remaining, if they were staying, so was she. “We were all soaked by the end of the night, but those nights are what I live for.”

No one minded as they all clamored closer together celebrating a night of great music that ended just minutes before 11 p.m.

Miranda Lambert “Not Upset” With Blake Shelton’s New Music as Her Relationship With Anderson East Continues to Grow

Miranda Lambert Anderson

Country music artists have been known to express themselves through music and Blake Shelton appears to be no exception.

This week, The Voice coach and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani performed their duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” for the first time live. That same night, Blake went to the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles to discuss his new music including the track “I Bet You Still Think About Me.”

While fans immediately speculated that the song is about Miranda Lambert, Blake isn’t confirming any names right now. And as it turns out, the person who could have inspired the track may not even mind.

“Miranda is aware of what country artists do when creating new music,” a source shared with E! News exclusively. “She is not upset at the lyrics because she knows it’s just how it goes, especially as a country artist.”

The E! News insider continued, “She is always thinking and currently working on new lyrics and song ideas and many of those ideas steam from the past, present and future experiences.”
When performing tracks from his album If I’m Honest Monday night on The Honda Stage in Los Angeles, Blake addressed the meaning of “I Bet You Still Think About Me.”

“It’s basically what it sounds like. At some point, whether you go through a divorce or a breakup or whatever, once you get past the anger and the frustration of it all, you kind of go into the sad part of it where it’s just like, ‘Gosh, how come that didn’t work out?'” he explained. “And that’s what this song is about. Even though stuff didn’t work out, I bet you miss me a little bit. It’s a sad song.”  The source also revealed that when Blake and Miranda’s relationship ended, “she missed him and he missed her.”

Ultimately, Miranda is enjoying life with boyfriend Anderson East. Whether performing on stage together or making new music in the great outdoors, the pair can’t help but enjoy each other’s company. And yes, they are looking forward to their future together.

“Miranda and Anderson are talking about moving in with each other,” the source shared. “It’s getting pretty serious. They want children and have shared their thoughts with each other on that subject.”
