“Country’s Arrival in Vegas” Scores Huge at Route 91 Harvest

The inaugural Route 91 Harvest, brought to Vegas by the creators of premier country music festivals Watershed and Faster Horses, in collaboration with MGM Resorts International, took place at MGM Resorts Village this past weekend with over 20,000 in attendance and rave reviews from fans and critics.

The lavish country music festival kicked-off on Friday night with headliner Blake Shelton setting the pace for the high roller weekend with Las Vegas Review Journal heralding the festival as “Country’s arrival in Vegas.”

On Saturday, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert continued the 3-day country music event playing sets “among the most fun and raucous of the fest[ival]”

Jason Aldean

Route 91 Harvest, whose name is taken from the original name of the Las Vegas Boulevard on which it sits, ended Sunday’s festivities with a bang with Jason Aldean closing out the show. “The final artist to take the stage at the festival, Aldean started and ended emphatically, ” said Rolling Stone Country of the last set of the weekend.

Fans also enjoyed the festival in true Vegas- style with the option of luxury private suites providing lounge seating, drinks service and catering as well as viewing decks with multiple platforms giving fans the opportunity to see the stage close up, the site as a whole and great views of the infamous Las Vegas Strip surrounding the festival.

“I honestly didn’t know what to expect when we decided to launch a country festival of this scale in Las Vegas, but this weekend has far surpassed any exceptions I could have had,” said Brian O’Connell, Live Nation President of Country Touring. “I’m beyond thrilled that Sin City has embraced us and our concept with open arms.”

Miranda Lambert is Taking “Certified Platinum” on Tour

Fresh off the success of her highly successful, summer Platinum Tour, CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Miranda Lambert is excited to announce her upcoming Certified Platinum Tour. Miranda thrilled audiences across the country, and the critics raved about her performances with The Boston Globe saying, “Lambert busted out of the gate like a woman possessed and didn’t take her foot off the pedal for 85 minutes, much to the delight of a packed amphitheatre happy to hold on for the ride.” The Philadelphia Inquirer proclaimed “Miranda Lambert works the same thematic turf about growing up and growing older in rural America as her (almost entirely male) competitors atop the country charts. She just does it way better than they do.”

Kicking off in January 2015, The Certified Platinum Tour will include ACM New Artist of the Year winner Justin Moore who has 5 #1 singles to his credit including “Point At You,” “Lettin’ The Night Roll,” “Small Town USA,” “If Heaven Weren’t So Far Away,” and “Til My Last Day,” and several Top 10’s from his Gold certified albums.

Miranda also adds more girl power to the tour with some of the brightest, up and coming female artists. RaeLynn, Sunny Sweeney, Ashley Monroe and Danielle Bradbery will open various shows along the way.

We were lucky enough to catch Miranda’s show in Nashville last year and let me tell you…..she is one of my FAVORITE women to watch perform live!  She puts on a hell of a show so if she comes anywhere close to you we suggest checking her out!  Click READ MORE to see what 30 cities Miranda is bringing the Certified Platinum Tour to:

Miranda Lambert to Headline Route 91 Harvest Festival for Cause for the Paws

Miranda and Dogs by Becky Fluke

Grammy® winner and dog ‘mother’ to seven rescue dogs, Miranda Lambert, has announced that proceeds from her show at the Route 91 Harvest Festival will go towards her 7th annual charity event, “Cause for the Paws,” to benefit her beloved MuttNation Foundation. The festival will be held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on October 3rd, 4th and 5th, and features fellow superstar headliners, Blake Shelton on Friday, Miranda on Saturday, and Jason Aldean on Sunday.

“I am so excited to be playing Vegas to raise money for a cause so dear to my heart,” said Miranda. She continued, “With your donations, we are able to watch happy, healthy dogs being given a second chance at life through adoption.”

This year’s “Cause for the Paws” event will include a sold out VIP cocktail party with Miranda on Friday from 5:30pm – 7:30pm; complete with a live and silent auction with items from Blake Shelton, Miranda, Live Nation and MGM Resorts. There will also be an online eBay auction beginning on Friday, October 3rd to coincide with the festivities.

MNF co-founder, Bev Lambert exclaims,

“Miranda and I are thrilled to host “Cause for the Paws: Lucky 7” in Las Vegas this year. The opportunity to hold the event in conjunction with the inaugural Rt. 91 Harvest Festival is not only a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for shelter pets it is also an excellent avenue for country music fans to see an amazing line up over three nights. It’s a win-win situation so Vegas was the obvious choice for this year’s Lucky # 7!”

Three day passes are still available for the Route 91 Harvest Festival for $199 inclusive of all tax and Ticketmaster fees at Click here for the full lineup:

Last year’s “Cause for the Paws,” held in Thackerville, OK; garnered over $400K, helping further fund Miranda’s shelter support including the “50 States for 50 shelters: Mutts Across America” initiative. The money also contributed to a number of puppy mill rescues, adoption drives and emergency relief efforts including a $20K donation to the rebuilding of shelters in the tornado torn Moore, OK. “Cause for the Paws” is the MuttNation Foundation’s largest fundraiser each year.

MuttNation Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and all contributions are 100% tax deductible; and has raised over $1.5 M the past seven years. To donate please visit: Miranda and her mother, Bev, make every effort to ensure that your hard-earned dollars are going to spay and neuter efforts, medical treatments, adoptions, preventions, transportation, legislative changes, and education. By contributing, you are making a difference to end animal cruelty, neglect, and homelessness.
