Country Music is Love Hosts 3rd Annual Concert for City of Hope

2012CMILPosterWebSize

Our friends over at CountryMusicIsLove.com have announced their 3rd Annual Benefit Concert benefiting City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment and education centers for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This year’s concert will feature acoustic performances by Micheal Ray, Chris Cavanaugh, Kristen Kelly, THE FARM, JT Hodges, Chuck Wicks, Love and Theft, Casey James, and Craig Campbell. Whitney Duncan will do double duty as host and performer for the second year in a row.

The cause hits close to home for many of the artists, including Casey James. “My family has been massively affected by cancer,” James shares. “My Paw-Paw passed away last year from cancer. My Nana passed away from cancer and my mother is a two-time cancer survivor, thyroid and breast. I can go on and on. There’s a large history of that in my family. Anything I can do to help and to do my part to make things better, I’ve always been into doing that, so it was an honor to be asked to come out and play. I’m excited to play the music and come see the fans, but most excited just to be a part of the whole thing.”

The 3nd Annual CountryMusicIsLove Concert benefiting City of Hope will be held February 21, 2012 at 7:30pm at Exit/In in Nashville, Tenn. Tickets are $15 and 100% of tickets sales will be donated to City of Hope. Tickets are available here: http://bit.ly/cmiltickets.

They Said I Do…& I Will….Weddings and Engagments of 2010

Lots of country stars said “I Do” in 2010…and plenty are planning their big days for 2011 while proudly sporting new rocks on their left hand.

Kacey Coppola married Dating in the Dark host Rossi Morreale in a destination wedding on August 7th.

Marc Fortney of Trailer Choir and Emily Robertson of Carter’s Chord got hitched in a surprise wedding on September 6th.

Eric Gunderson from Love and Theft married long-time girlfriend Emily Hagar on April 3rd.

Brian Bandas also from Love and Theft married Kelly Barons on September 26th.

Carrie Underwood married hockey player Mike Fisher on July 10th in a swanky wedding on a Georgia plantation.

Sarah Buxton married Tom Bukavac on November 20th.

Lorrie Morgan and Randy White tied the knot in a romantic island ceremony on September 15th.

LOTS of other stars said yes to the magic question when it was “popped”…

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton will become country musics newest ‘power couple’ in 2011. They’ve hinted at a May wedding.

Kellie Pickler and long-time love Kyle Jacobs got engaged on a Florida beach in June of 2010.

Gloriana’s Cheyenne Kimball is gonna marry songwriter Casey Twist.

Keith Anderson will wed long-time girlfriend Lauren Woodruff in 2011.

Shania Twain is sporting a massive rock from fiance Frederic Thiebaud.

And LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian got engaged this past week just making the 2011 cut-off.

Since Carrie Underwood’s lavish wedding definitely was the talk of 2010…who’s nuptuals will be the talk of 2011?? I say Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert…Gonna be something to see for sure.
