After what she calls “one scary night,” Loretta Lynn is resting at home. Early Saturday, Lynn woke up on her tour bus and was having trouble breathing. It turns out she had bacterial pneumonia. She was treated at a hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She was forced to cancel Saturday’s concert in Ashland, Kentucky and Sunday’s in Durham, North Carolina. Lynn says she’s feeling better now but she’ll continue to rest. She’ll be back on the road, November 3 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The two concerts Lynn missed over the weekend already have been rescheduled. She’ll be in Ashland January 7 and Durham January 8.

The legendary Loretta Lynn has cancelled several upcoming shows due to hospitalization. According to her website, she is doing well and expects to perform her November dates.

Loretta regretfully must cancel her shows for Ashland Ky, and Durahm, NC for this weekend, due to illness. Doctors have diagnosed her as the beginning stages pneumonia, and will continue to need rest. Loretta is doing well and is disappointed but feels confident she will be ready for upcoming November dates.

According to CMT.com, Loretta Lynn has either cancelled or postponed her remaining August tour dates. The legendary singer will undergo knee surgery.

“I’m sad to have to cancel any shows for my fans, but they tell me I’ve just got to stay off this knee for a while,” Lynn says.

Loretta Lynn was supposed to appear at Ohio’s Jamboree in the Hills festival this coming weekend. But due to hospitalization caused by severe dehydration, Loretta has canceled her appearance.

The recent scorching temperatures has forced Country Music legend Loretta Lynn to cancel the upcoming performances at MGM Theatre- Foxwoods Resort Casino and Jamboree in the Hills, of her 2011 tour. Ms. Lynn was recently hospitalized and treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration after the temperature index soared to over 100 degrees in parts of Tennessee. Shows will be rescheduled where possible, and Ms. Lynn regrets having to disappoint fans who had hoped to see her in concert.
