LeAnn Rimes is the Only One That Matters….

RadarOnline.com is reporting LeAnn Rimes recently visited celebrity tattoo parlour Shamrock Social Club for some new ink. Shop owner Mark Mahoney did the tattoo that reads, “The only one that matters” for LeAnn on her left foot.

She is no stranger to tats as she has two others; ‘Still I Rise,’ the title of a Maya Angelou poem on her stomach, and ‘Love’ etched on the small of her back.

LeAnn took to her Twitter to tell fans the phrase was inspired from a compliment her hubby, actor Eddie Cibrian, gave her.

“I’m addicted to words & sayings that mean something special to me. Eddie said to me ‘You’re the only one that matters’ so….,” “Ok….here it is! It’s dainty. All of my tattoos are very feminine.”

LeAnn Rimes, Rodney Atkins and Miley Cyrus were a part of the first-ever American Giving Awards on Saturday (Dec. 10). The awards honored diffrent charities, Colin Farrell for his work with various causes from Make-a-Wish to the Special Olympics. Bob Costas hosted the awards that aired on NBC.

LeAnn Rimes Says Babies Are Not on Her Mind

LeAnn Rimes isn’t in a rush to hear the pitter-patter of little feet. Instead she’s happy being a stepmom to a pre-schooler and an elementary school kid who, if they’re like others their age, probably track dirt in.

Rimes tells the Associated Press she’s “totally fine with a 4- and an 8-year-old boy right now.” But she says she and new hubby Eddie Cibrian “talk about it a lot.” So she says “we’ll see. We’ll see.”

Country Music Billboard Charts – 10/7/2011

After two weeks at number two, “Made in America” from Toby Keith now is number one on Billboard’s country songs chart. It switches places with “Take a Back Road” by Rodney Atkins. Keith Urban’s “Long Hot Summer” is in third.

For the third week in a row, “Own the Night” from Lady Antebellum is number one on Billboard’s country albums chart. “My Kinda Party” from Jason Aldean is in second, followed by Brantley Gilbert in third with “Halfway to Heaven.” The only new album to break into the top-10 on Billboard’s country albums chart this week is “Lady and Gentlemen” by LeAnn Rimes. It debuts at number seven.

LeAnn Rimes was 11 when she recorded her classic song, “Blue.” Now at Vince Gill’s urging, she recorded it again for her new album of classic covers called “Lady and Gentlemen.”

Rimes tells the Associated Press ”it was a mind trip to really go into the studio and sing that again.”

It has different instrumentation and it’s a little faster. “Lady and Gentlemen” is available today and includes her take on “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” “16 Tons,” “Wasted Days and Wasted Nights” and more.

LeAnn Rimes to Perform at StandUp For Kids Benefit

LeAnn Rimes will perform a live acoustic concert to benefit StandUp For Kids, a national non-profit charitable organization committed to ending the cycle of youth homelessness throughout the United States. The benefit performance featuring Rimes will be held on Thursday, October 20th, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. ET at the Riot Act Comedy Club in Washington, DC.

StandUp For Kids was founded in 1990 to help rescue homeless and at-risk youth. Their mission is to empower teenagers toward lifelong personal growth through on-the-streets outreach programs. All proceeds from the event will benefit StandUp For Kids. Tickets for the event will be $20 and are available for purchase by visiting riotactcomedy.com.

At the benefit event, LeAnn will perform her new song “Give” from her upcoming album Lady & Gentlemen, in stores Sept. 27. For the song’s video, LeAnn partnered with the organization and featured several homeless kids from Chicago who have been directly impacted by StandUp For Kids.

“‘Give’ is a song with a powerful message about how if we want love, kindness and happiness in our lives, then we need to give some of that back,” LeAnn said. “I believe that message needs to be shared with the world, and in doing so, I am happy to partner with Clear Channel to help support StandUp for Kids, an important nonprofit organization whose mission is to help homeless and street kids all across the country.”

The concert is a part of Clear Channel Radio’s commitment to empowering local youth. In addition, Clear Channel will collaborate with LeAnn to create a series of national public service announcements and a special 30 minute radio show discussing the serious issue of the rising rate of youth homelessness.

“Just as we were struggling with the devastating effects of the economic downturn, declining contributions and the difficulty of recruiting enough volunteers, LeAnn and Clear Channel Radio flew in, like guardian angels, giving us an amazing opportunity to tell our story,” said Tom Reiman, National Board member of StandUp For Kids. “This will be a great event and will help us raise awareness about teen homelessness throughout the communities we serve.”

“This is such an amazing opportunity to attend an intimate acoustic performance by LeAnn Rimes while raising funds for a very important cause,” said Thea Mitchem, Market Manager, Clear Channel Radio. “LeAnn is clearly passionate about teen homelessness and WMZQ is honored to help bring that passion to our listeners through this concert and her new song, ‘Give’.’”
