Inaugural Boots & Hearts Music Festival Launches In Canada This Summer

The first inaugural Boots and Hearts Music Festival has been scheduled for August 10-12th at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario.  This will be the largest international Country music festival that has ever taken place on Canadian soil. The artists set to headline the festival are Tim McGraw, Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood and Alabama, along with performances by Paul Brandt, Big  & Rich, Lauren Alaina, Jason McCoy, Dallas Smith, High Valley, Canaan Smith and many more.

“Canadians deserve a festival where they can enjoy the very best Country music has to offer and camp with their friends and family without having to travel to the United States. We have three full days of Country music on two stages, tailgates, barbeques, and all kinds of activities throughout the day to keep fans entertained. And just when other music festivals call it a night, ‘BOOTS AND HEARTS’ will ramp things up with nightly after-parties. It’s definitely shaping up to be the party of the summer,” said, Partner and Exec. Director of Republic-Live, Shannon McNevan.

Three-day passes are available now for $199.99, with camping permits starting at $62.99.

For more on the festival, and ticket purchases visit www.bootsandhearts.com.

BamaJam 2012 Answers to All the Whispers & Rumors

BamaJam2
BamaJam

BamaJam 2012 is getting closer and closer and we hope everyone is as excited as we are! With any festival of this size, there are bound to be common questions, misconceptions and assumptions. We’ve decided to address some of these and answer openly and honestly, so you know what to expect. We hope to see everyone at BamaJam 2012 on June 14-16 in Enterprise, Alabama!

1) Is BamaJam 2012 really going to happen? Absolutely!!!! If you don’t believe us, just ask Kid Rock, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Uncle Kracker and NEEDTOBREATHE.

2) Rumor has it that you landed a title sponsor to BamaJam 2012 and I hear that they have a slogan that includes music? Is that really true? That rumor has been circulating around the music world and you will be able to see who our title sponsor is and it is BETTER than “the Real Thing!”

3) Tickets will be available for $20 on the day of the event in the parking lot. Absolutely not. Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event at the gate for $189.00.

4) Is it true I can buy a ticket and be on the stage with my favorite artists? Yes! We offer a special on-stage festival ticket that is available for $999. These are limited and will go fast, so get them while they’re still available!

5) Will there be alcohol served or can I bring a cooler? No outside food or beverage will be allowed into the festival, including a cooler. You are allowed to bring in an empty bottle and will be able to fill it with water on premises. Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will be sold inside the festival area.

6) What happens if it rains? BamaJam 2012 will take place RAIN OR SHINE. A little weather can’t stop us!

7) If I just want to come for one day, can I cut off my wristband and give it to a friend for the other days? Wristbands are non-transferable. Wristbands become void if they appear cut or tampered with. Plus, with the line-up we have this year, you’re not going to want to miss a second of it!

8) Thousands have still not gotten their refunds for 2011 BamaJam. This is not a true statement. Thousands of refunds have been sent out. However, if there is anyone who has not received a refund for BamaJam 2011, BamaJam 2012 is ready and willing to assist you in facilitating your refund. Please call 615-340-9500 for immediate assistance.

9) People are telling me that there are age limits for BamaJam 2012? That is a rumor! BamaJam 2012 is for ALL AGES. Children 6 and under are free.

10) I don’t know yet if I will be able to make it to BamaJam 2012. Can I walk up and buy tickets at the festival? Yes you can!! Tickets will be available at the gate for $189. However you save $70 off the price of gate admission by purchasing tickets now at $119.

11) Can I really bring my camper and never have to leave BamaJam Farms for the entire event? Yes you can!! Camping rates start at $85 and that includes all three days!!

12) Have all the artists been announced? No! There will be many more announced in the upcoming weeks. Here’s the hint for our next big announcement: Although this artist used to appear on a Tuesday Night Music Club, they’ll hit the stage at BamaJam 2012 on Saturday night. C’mon, C’mon! This artist also loves to take “Pictures” with Kid Rock!!

Kid Rock Teams With Detroit Symphony

Kid Rock

Kid Rock is teaming up with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for a one-night concert to benefit the orchestra.  The show is May 12th at Detroit’s Fox Theatre, and organizers say they hope to raise $1 million.

Kid Rock plans to perform with the orchestra and his own Twisted Brown Trucker Band. Detroit Symphony Music Director Leonard Slatkin is expected to conduct the orchestra. Kid Rock says in a statement that as a musician and a Detroiter, he’s proud to be supporting this “long-standing cultural institution.” He says the performance will be “well worth the price of admission.” Tickets go on sale Saturday. They start at $100, with top price levels including an after party.
