Joe Nichols and Steel Magnolia, the duo made up of Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, will perform at the Fifth Annual Country Weekly Fashion Show & Concert, which will take place June 7 at Nashville’s Rocketown.
“The Country Weekly Fashion Show is a fun way to kick off CMA Music Fest,” says Nichols. “Music fans can sit back, relax and see their favorite artists doing something a little different. Of course, some have that catwalk fashion show strut down a little better than others! But no matter who struts their stuff better, it’s always a fun evening of music and fashion.”
Additional participants include Danny Gokey, Bucky Covington, Joey+Rory, Ty Herndon, Sarah Darling, Burns & Poe, Tiffany, Katie Armiger, Joanna Smith, LoCash Cowboys, Carter’s Chord, Ashley Gearing, Danielle Peck, Stealing Angels, Margaret Durante and James Wesley, among others.
The event, which will be emceed by GAC’s Suzanne Alexander, will benefit Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to patients in health-care facilities.
General admission tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com for $30 and a few VIP tickets are available for $75 and $125 at musiciansoncall.org.
Doors open at 8 p.m. on June 7 and the show will start at 9 p.m.

Katie Armiger is a ball full of energy, talent and honest song writing. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter has accomplished more during her four years as a recording artist than most people twice her age. She released her first album when she was just 15 years old, has amassed a collection of songs on her third album that touches upon just about every emotion imaginable – love, infatuation, anger, sadness, hurt, happiness – and she is unabashedly unapologetic in showcasing her feelings, whatever form they may encompass.
Katie has spent time on the road opening for such hit makers as Jason Aldean, Craig Morgan and Luke Bryan and written with some of the best songwriter in Nashville.
Her new album, Confessions of a Nice Girl, gives you a peek into her psyche, but a good long look at the mind of a woman who has encountered love, heartbreak and resentment.
“I recorded my second album when I was 15, and between 15 and 19, there is just a huge difference,” declares Katie. “Within those years, your life changes you can fall in love and fall out of it, go on tours and live life in that time span that you couldn’t even imagine.”
