Music Saves Mountains

Musicians like Kathy Mattea, Emmylou Harris, Dave Matthews, Patty Loveless, Gloriana, Big Kenny and others are hoping their music can preserve the Appalachians. Tonight’s “Music Saves Mountains” concert is at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. It’s presented by the Natural Resources Defense Council. The concert is to raise awareness about coal mining that removes the tops of mountains. The council says this is devastating Appalachia.
