Jennette McCurdy’s “Generation Love” On Radio Today

Jennette McCurdy is releasing her newest single “Generation Love” to country radio today. “Generation Love” has been garnering rave reviews and has been the focus of a multi-week cross country mall tour, Generation Love For St. Jude, where Jennette has been performing for thousands of fans a night and raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Jennette has made it her personal mission to raise $100,000 for St. Jude – a hospital and cause that is very dear to her heart.

“When I visited St. Jude a few months back, I was so impressed to find out how above and beyond they go to provide care for the children treated at the facility,” shares McCurdy. “The hospital pays for the patient’s family’s travel and lodging expenses, and most importantly, St Jude doesn’t turn any child away, regardless of the situation at hand.”

Fresh off of her recent Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award win for “Favorite Sidekick” on iCarly and her recent appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards, McCurdy is ramping up this week for Generation Love For St. Jude tour dates in Oklahoma City, Houston, Austin and San Antonio.
“Generation Love” was produced by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts and is available for purchase at digital retailers. The single will appear on Jennette’s debut country album in stores this fall.

The Capitol Street Party Rocked Out Downtown Nashville With a Big Surprise Guest

The Capitol Street Party was the place to be last night (Oct 13).  Jennette McCurdy, Troy Olsen, Luke Bryan, Walker Hayes and Darius Rucker shut down Demonbreun Street for a free show.  Fans crowded the street and endured rain, winds and a little cold weather in return for some FANTASTIC music.

Luke Bryan heated up the crowd with a performance that left the ladies wanting and screaming for more.  Luke’s on stage presence is one that no one can deny.  He gets the ladies screaming and the men jumping up and down for their favorite country man.  There wasn’t a person in the crowd not watching his every movement.

As if the night couldn’t get any better Darius surprised the crowd by introducing Keith Urban as a surprise guest.  Keith joined Darius Rucker as they did an acoustic performance of Keith’s hit “Raining on Sunday” and a cover of Steve Miller Band’s “The Joker”.

If you stayed in last night because of the weather BIG MISTAKE!  You missed one of the best parties in Nashville.  Check back a little later today to read Tawny’s review of Walker Hayes after party at the Tin Roof.
