Ira Dean is an Open Honest Book in our Exclusive CMTT Interview

Most country music fans know Ira Dean as the funny hat wearing, bass playing, harmony singer from Trick Pony. Lucky for you, CMTT got to know a more personal and honest Ira during CRS 2012.

He shared with us the struggles he went through after loosing his father, how he came to enjoy and make great music again and the plans for his upcoming album.

Don’t forget to call your local radio stations to request “Somethin’ Bout A Sunday.” It was co-written by Ira and Josh Thompson, and is Ira’s radio debut as a solo artist. The powerful debut about change takes the listener inside the heart of a sinner looking back at the wreckage in his life. It’s an AMAZING and honest song.

Ira just finished recording his self-titled CD produced by himself along with Joe Scaife, Blake Chancey, and good friend Anthony Smith. Ira says “its a mixture of alcohol and testosterone driven songs.” The album is slated for a Summer 2012 release.

Find out more about Ira Dean on his website: www.iradean.com
