Luke Bryan gave the most memorable and entertaining performance at the 2011 CMT Music Awards. He busted a move to his current hit “Country Girl (Shake it for me)” while surrounded by tons country girl dancers. Although the performance was quite impressive and memorable Luke admitted that there isn’t a single thing he can recall of his performance.

In the press room after the awards Luke says he doesn’t remember anything that he did on the stage during his performance. The last thing he remembered was his first move when he put his hat on backwards.  The hat was not planned to be turned backwards in fact the hat wasn’t even supposed to put on.  During the second chorus he nearly fainted and wished he had a mini oxygen-tank with him so he could have given a better performance.

Luke will have plenty of opportunities to better the dancing routine on-stage this fall as he heads out headlining the 2011 CMT Tour.

PS:  I wish EVERYONE could have been there to see the performance live.  The TV performance doesn’t show near enough of the booty shakin’ Luke really did.

Wednesday night at the 2011 CMT Music Awards, top nominee Jason Aldean and rapper Ludacris brought the house down with an unexpected collaboration of Aldean’s current Top 10 hit “Dirt Road Anthem.” The remix of the song is now available on iTunes for download. Additionally, the performance video will be available on Monday, June 13th.

“Ludacris absolutely killed his verse of the song,” said Aldean. “He name checks Kenny Rogers and talks about drinking cold beer…that’s pretty country, if you ask me! I think Luda said it best last night at the close of the song when he told the crowd ‘History has been made.’ It really did feel like one of those one-in-a-lifetime television moments, and the CMT Music Awards was the perfect show for it. The fans were crazy!”

Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem” is currently the No. one song on the iTunes Country Songs chart, and it plowed its way into the Top 10 on the radio charts this week. The fan-favorite track is the third single off ‘My Kinda Party’ that has already spawned two smash hits ( “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Kelly Clarkson and “My Kinda Party). The album hit big out of the gate, setting a record as the highest first week debut by a male artist in 4 years, and the now PLATINUM disc it has remained planted at the top of the chart since its Nov. release.

Luke Bryan rocked his performance of current smash hit “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” last night at the CMT Music Awards and ended his evening with the knowledge he was the top-searched term on Google, according to the engine’s Trends website.
Bryan delighted screaming fans in the audience, fellow artists and viewers alike as the well-seasoned live entertainer gave an energy-packed performance. This was the first solo awards show performance of his career.
Earlier this week Bryan’s Facebook fans have reached an all-time high just shy of 1.5 million users. No doubt due to the great response the single “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” has received at country radio, his shows on Tim McGraw’s “Emotional Traffic Tour,” the announcement he will headline this fall’s CMT ON TOUR: Luke Bryan Tailgates & Tanlines,” as well as his upcoming album, due in stores August 9th, “Tailgates & Tanlines.”

Bryan performs tonight in Fresno, California at the Save Mart Center on the “Emotional Traffic Tour.”

She was in Nashville, not in London or in France but you sure could see Sheryl Crow’s underpants!

 At least if you had a sharp eye, or a DVR. The singer already had eyes on her when she wore a short white skirt on stage, then sat on a stool to sing “Collide” alongside host Kid Rock. But when she stood up, you could catch a glimpse of her undies. It was hardly an X-rated moment, but because so many people were able to freeze the image on their DVRs, the clip went viral on social networking sites like Twitter.

Sheryl went ahead and addresses the elephant in the room later in the show when she and Sara Evans were onstage to present an award. Evans told Crow: “Well, at least you were wearing underwear.” Crow joked that she was because she is “good, clean, wholesome family fun.”
