Tucker Beathard Set To Release “Fight Like Hell” EP

A born songwriter, FIGHT LIKE HELL will give fans a deeper insight into “country breakout” (Entertainment WeeklyTucker Beathard’s innate ability to create unique turns of phrases and connect with audiences.  “20-10 Tennessee,” a standout track, uses a football game as a metaphor for a relationship and the EP’s title track is an impactful call to action.  “Home Sweet USA” is a reflective, patriotic anthem, while “I’ll Take On The World With You” evokes a teenage nostalgia, in Beathard’s ode to the strong bond he shares with his brothers. The EP will also include Beathard’s debut breakout single “Rock On,” that with a quiet confidence has captivated the attention of country radio and is currently closing in on the Top 5.

“I’m always either writing songs or so focused on the next show, the next setlist that I kind of forget to look around at all that is happening…I haven’t quite wrapped my head around having a Top 10 single yet,” said Tucker Beathard. “The songs on the EP kind of represent a timeline of songwriting for me with ‘Home Sweet USA’ being one of the first songs I ever wrote, and ‘I’ll Take On The World With You’ was written just a few months ago.”

As rising singer/songwriter Tucker Beathard edges closer to notching over 200 shows this year, it could be easy to get lost in the momentum of the road. This weekend however, marked the scoring of a personal goal, as Beathard took the stage at the first-ever concert at Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium on Saturday (8/27). “For the Beathards, family is life” (ESPN) and Beathard’s performance was a full circle moment as the venue’s day job is hosting Iowa Hawkeyes games, where his brother, C.J. Beathard plays starting quarterback.

It is indisputable that “music and sports proliferate on Beathard’s family tree” (Cedar Rapids Gazette),” as Beathard played a memorable, sincere set and proved the hallowed football field to be a “turf big enough for two Beathards” (The Daily Iowan.) While performing a new track called “I’ll Take On The World With You,” which he co-wrote about the strong bond between he and his siblings, Beathard brought his older brother and former childhood bandmate out onto the stage for an electric moment that sparked the “crowd of loudly cheering fans” even further (Iowa City Press Citizen.) The concert, dubbed “Back Porch Revival,” was in aid of The Native Fund, a charity started by former Hawkeye Dallas Clark and actor Ashton Kutcher, from which proceeds go toward Iowans who are impacted by disasters.

“Ever since C.J. started at Iowa, playing a show at Kinnick Stadium was one of those unreachable dreams that you never think will actually come true,” said Beathard. “Our whole family lives for sports and music…it’s what bonds us together going back to my grandpa and his years in the NFL. It was awesome to be invited to the Back Porch Revival and to see those two worlds collide in front of a stadium full of people. I’ll never forget it!”

Tucker Beathard Introduces “The Mother Tuckers” Fan Community

Tucker Beathard is opening up his growing fanbase on the road and online with the creation of The Mother Tuckers.  When all new members sign up they will receive a downloadable letter from Beathard and the very first song he wrote when he was just 15 called “That’s Alright With Me.” Additionally, they will have the option to sign up to receive a number and a Mother Tuckers patch based on their place in line, as well as access to exclusive content, videos, pre-sales, meet & greets, an online community and more.

“For me, it’s more than a fan club,” says Beathard.  “I turned to music when I felt like I didn’t fit in anywhere else, and I want to provide a place for people who may have that same feeling and know it’s ok to be who you are no matter what.  We’ve been spending a lot of time out on the road and have been able to meet so many people at shows, we just wanted to keep it going and continue to connect with people out there.”

Beathard’s debut single “Rock On” (Big Machine Label Group) continues on an upwards trajectory narrowing in on the Top 10 this week, he co-wrote the “thumping rocker” (Rolling Stone) as well as played drums and guitar on the track.  Beathard has been on the road non-stop this summer opening up for Dierks Bentley as well as his own club dates, with almost 200 shows slated for this year. He is currently working on his debut album, being overseen by producer Angelo Petraglia (Kings Of Leon), and has already been featured on multiple “Artists To Watch” lists including The Bobby Bones Show, Huffington Post, Rolling Stone and more.  For more information and a full list of tour dates visit

Tucker Beathard Premieres “Rock On” Music Video

Tucker Beathard

Singer/songwriter Tucker Beathard premiered his first-ever full length music video for his debut single “Rock On,” exclusively on PEOPLE today. Directed by Good One, a filmmaking collaboration between brothers Ry and Drew Cox from LA, the Big Machine Label Group artist showcases his “hard-country edge” (Rolling Stone Country) as he reflects on a past love interest, who he is unaware is struggling herself since they parted ways.  Beathard co-wrote the song and plays both lead guitar and drums on the track, which was one of the most added songs at Country Radio in its debut week.

“Making a music video definitely felt surreal,” said Beathard. “Even though it isn’t really natural for me and the band to have a bunch of cameras around when we’re playing, we had some fun with it. Having a song on the radio, and now a music video makes it all feel real.   We’ll be out on the road with Dierks this summer, which is crazy too.  I can’t wait!”

Next week Beathard, who was recently singled out as an iHeartRadio “On The Verge” artist, will join Dierks Bentley for his 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR kicking off on May 12 in Holmdel, NJ.  Growing up in a family that excelled at both music and sports – his dad a hit songwriter; his brothers, star quarterbacks- Beathard certainly knows something about family tradition.  Deciding to forego a college baseball scholarship to dive headlong into songwriting Beathard has an unrelenting competitive spirit: He wakes up every day trying to write the perfect song.  Heralded by PEOPLE as a “much buzzed about singer/songwriter” Beathard has already been featured on multiple “Artists To Watch” lists including The Bobby Bones Show, Huffington Post, Rolling Stone and Taste Of Country.  Beathard is currently working on his debut album, being overseen by producer Angelo Petraglia (Kings Of Leon).
