Your Chance to Have a One of a Kind Experience with Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton and More

Capitol Records Nashville Sr. Director of New Media, Dawn Gates, is a firm believer in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission. As a nominee for their Nashville Woman of the Year, she has teamed up with a variety of artists, celebrities and award shows to host a Celebrity eBay Auction to raise funds for LLS. The initiative is just one of many fundraising efforts being made as she tries to personally raise $50,000 by the end of May.

Leading artists, television shows and hosts in the industry have donated personal experiences, meet-and-greets, studio experiences and more to help raise funds. Featured artists include Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, KISS, Peter Frampton, Blake Shelton, Amy Grant, Young Buck, Donny & Marie, Darius Rucker, Jennette McCurdy, Danny Gokey and many others. A full list of participants and experiences can be found by visiting www.ebay.com/allaccessforlls.

The celebrity auction is hosted in honor of a special young friend, Tanner Page (pictured above left with Gates), who was diagnosed in June 2009 at age 5 with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Tanner is currently undergoing chemotherapy maintenance treatments. The auction, managed by online auctioneer eBay, began April 19, 2011 and will end April 29, 2011.Specific experiences already live in the auction include a Keith Urban Tour Sneak Peak & Private Meeting, CMA Awards VIP Package, Nickelodeon iCarly set tour with Jennette McCurdy, Lady Antebellum Music Fest Experience, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Packages, Dierks Bentley Music Video Shoot Access, Kyle Cook (Matchbox Twenty) Guitar Lesson, Young Buck Studio Experience, Elena Grinenko “Dancing With The Stars” Private Lesson and much more.

Jennette McCurdy Exceeds Her Goal To Raise $100,000 For St. Jude By Almost $40,000!

Jennette McCurdy has raised a total $139,643 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during her cross country mall tour, Generation Love For St. Jude, which concluded April 14th. For weeks, Jennette performed for thousands of fans and raised money by signing autographs and selling charity CDs with all proceeds benefiting the cause. Before embarking on the tour, Jennette made it her personal mission to raise $100,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – a charity that is very dear to her heart.

“What a great few weeks this has been, being able to play for so many great fans that came out to the shows.” Jennette says of the tour. “What made it even better was the opportunity to partner with St. Jude and not only bring awareness to their life-changing facility, but also raise money to help the patients that come through their doors. I’m proud and honored to be associated with St. Jude and their amazing cause!”

The tour was named after Jennette’s new single “Generation Love,” which was produced by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts and will appear on her debut album in stores this fall. “Generation Love” is available for purchase at all digital retailers now.

The music video for “Generation Love,” produced by Roman White, will premiere on CMT’s “Big New Music Weekend” this Friday, April 22 beginning at 6:00a.m.EST, and airing all weekend long through Sunday, April 24. It will also air on Nickelodeon at 9:30p.m.EST/PST on Saturday, April 23.
