On Thursday, June 12th, Danielle Peck married her best friend.

Danielle Peck said yes to her “Good Man” back in December of 2013 when Tour Production Manager, Josh Smith asked her to marry him!

“This day was a dream come true for me,” Danielle smiles “I’ve married my best friend and look forward to spending the rest of my life with the one I love, & I truly couldn’t be happier!!!”

The happy couple exchanged vows on June 12th, 2014 in Ballina, Ireland at Belleek Castle in a fairytale setting where their intimate & private ceremony took place.

The couple became engaged December 14, 2013 a month short of their one year anniversary when Josh recreated their first date. Since then wedding plans & dates were discussed but nothing ever seemed perfect. When Josh left for Europe with The Eagles, he and Danielle secretly ditched all the big wedding ideas and made plans to meet in Ireland to get married.

“We both were eagerly anticipating getting married to each other, and due to our busy travel schedules,” Says Danielle “it made the most sense for us to take advantage of this opportunity at a romantic castle in Ireland!!!”

Upon the newlyweds return from Europe, Danielle will continue working towards the release of her 3rd album “How Freedom Feels” and Josh will be re-joining Jennifer Nettles for her summer tour.

A reception is being planned by Josh and Danielle in Nashville for later this summer.

The concert, titled “A Celebration of Service: Honoring Our Military Men and Women and Those Who Serve Them” will take place at B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square, New York, on June 2, 2013.

In addition to Danielle, the night will feature performances by Little Big Band, featuring Mark Rivera, long-time member of The Billy Joel Band and Ringo Starr’s Music Director and American Idol Winner Kris Allen. As she readies the release of her new album How Freedom Feels, Danielle has taken a moment to recognize the good work of a woman with big dreams. In association with Country Weekly, the “Impossible Dreams” contest – named for Peck’s current single – has honored winner Lori Byrd for her essay, “Living Without Krista.” A remembrance of her 23-year-old daughter who died of a heroin overdose, the piece was chosen as the contest winner by Country Weekly readers. The single, “Impossible Dreams,” celebrates those who “get up every time they knock you down;” and the video is in rotation on CMT.com, GAC, TCN, Vevo and YouTube. It is also a regular on CMT Pure and on the network’s “12 Pack of the Week.”

Peck, who is building on her prior chart successes including “I Don’t,” “Findin’ A Good Man” and “Isn’t That Everything,” recently performed at NSAI’s Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Café and on FOX’s Tennessee Mornings. She headlined the first night at the Cooper Tire stage at THE ACM EXPERIENCE in Las Vegas at the Orleans Hotel & Casino – an event that coincided with the national broadcast of the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Next month she will make appearances at the 2013 CMA Music Festival, including a performance at The Hard Rock Outdoor Entertainment stage, and the 2013 CMT Music Awards in Nashville.
