Chase Rice Takes Fans on “Day in the Life” Journey with New Music Video for “Everybody We Know Does”

With his new music video for “Everybody We Know Does,” Chase Rice isn’t just giving fans a glimpse into his world away from the lights and the noise and the stage – he’s busting the doors wide open and inviting everyone in to be a part of it. He solicited his own friends and family for the candid music video shoot at his property on the outskirts of Music City, tapping his longtime tour videographer Cody Cannon to capture the authentic spirit of “Everybody We Know Does” on camera.

“This music video is as real as it gets,” said Rice. “’Everybody We Know Does’ is my life in a song — it’s not just about what we do; it’s about what makes us who we are and what brings us together and we wanted to capture that in the purest way possible with this video. It’s literally my friends and me hanging out at the farm, gathering around a fire, singing our favorite songs and trying to make the most out of life. Whether we’re on the road, performing for thousands of people or just kicking back at home, this is who we are.”

Rice is currently on his fifth headlining tour, the Everybody We Know Does Tour, with special guests Ryan Hurd and Lacy Cavalier. Known for live shows that are “energetic and country rogue” (Providence Journal), Rice has built a widespread and fiercely loyal fan base through years of relentless touring and will have logged more than 175 days on the road in 2016 alone by the time his fall tour winds down. His new single is already making an impact at shows and a new studio album is expected out early next year.

Chase Rice to Perform New Single, “Everybody We Know Does” on ‘Today’- DVR Alert

chase rice

Having logged thousands of miles on the fair and festival circuit this summer and countless hours in the studio fine-tuning new music for his much-anticipated forthcoming studio album, Chase Rice is set to perform his new single, “Everybody We Know Does,” for the first time on national television during his Today debut next Tuesday, Aug. 30th. The “massive sing-along,” which Taste of Country observes was “recorded with the fans in mind,” is also the inspiration and eponym for Rice’s fifth headlining tour, which officially kicks off in September. With a long history of supporting fellow singer/songwriters and building his live show around an eclectic blend of artists, Rice tapped country music newcomers Ryan Hurd and Lacy Cavalier to join him as support on the Everybody We Know Does Tour this fall.

“This tour is all about bringing people together and appreciating where we come from, whether it’s Seattle, Washington or Akron, Ohio or Buford, Georgia. Whether you’re from a big city or a small town; east coast, west coast or anywhere in between, we’re all part of this same great country and we all have a story about what makes us who we are,” said Rice. “Music is one of the best ways I know to share those stories and experiences, and I’m excited not only to play some of my new music live, but also to have two really creative artists in Ryan and Lacy with me on the road to add their own unique sounds and styles to the mix. We’re going to have a good time!”

Viewers can tune in to NBC’s Today on August 30th to catch Rice’s performance of “Everybody We Know Does.” Upcoming dates for the Everybody We Know Does Tour are as follows, with more to be announced:

Chase Rice’s “Everybody We Know Does” Reflects His Values and Lifestyle

Chase Rice

Chase Rice has built his country music career one fan at a time, honing his vigorous live show by playing everywhere from dive bars and fields to amphitheaters and sheds, listening to peoples’ stories and tapping into the common pulse that brings them together night after night: Music.

With four headlining tours, opening runs for stadium superstar Kenny Chesney and entertainer Dierks Bentley, a chart-topping album and two Top 5 radio hits now under his belt, Rice has ridden the highs and lows right alongside his fans and supporters and harnessed that collective energy in recording music for his forthcoming album.

With his new single “Everybody We Know Does,” available at digital retailers today, June 24 and arriving at country radio on Tuesday, June 28, Rice delivers an authentic anthem that reflects the values and lifestyle he shares with his core supporters while also nodding to their diversity.

“These last few years have been a whirlwind, being out on the road building our live show and working on new music for the next record. I’ve lived a lot and had some incredible experiences and opportunities, but I’ve also been spending some time out at my farm, just unplugging for a bit and reflecting on what music means to me and what it means to all of the people who have shown up and supported me over the years,” said Rice. “That’s why this song, ‘Everybody We Know Does,’ is really special to me. We went in and recorded it with some of Nashville’s top studio musicians, so it’s our sound and our lives reflected in this song. It’s who we are, and that’s ultimately what brings us all together.”

“Everybody We Know Does” was written by Jeremy Bussey and Travis Denning and is available at all digital retail partners HERE.

Chase Rice is Headed Back to School

chase rice back to school

Chase Rice’s allegiance to his alma mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and its Tar Heels is well documented, but viewers will have the chance to see Rice return to his roots for the first time as a headlining artist in a new episode of CMT Hot 20 Countdown premiering tomorrow, April 23rd at 9 a.m. ET/PT Rice filmed the episode during a recent tour stop at the university on Campus Events Network Presents College Days, Country Nights: The Chase Rice Back to College Tour, which is his fourth headlining run after opening for Kenny Chesney on The Big Revival Tour 2015 and consistently selling out 2,000 – 3,000 seat capacity venues on his JD and Jesus Tour last fall.

Currently at work on his next Columbia Nashville / Dack Janiels Records album expected in late 2016, Rice seized the opportunity to hit the road this spring and perform his new music for what Pollstar notes is “the most discerning crowd there is: college kids.”

“Music has taken me all over the country, all over the world these last couple of years, and it’s given me a life I only could’ve dreamed about when I was in college,” Rice said upon returning to his former stomping grounds at UNC and even touring the campus football facilities where he used to train as a linebacker for the team. “But Carolina will always have my heart. I will always be a Tar Heel, and that makes this particular show really special to me. I learned a lot about life while I was here, not just as a student or a football player but getting injured and losing my dad when I was a senior in school – those experiences changed my life forever. Ultimately, they brought me to music and so it’s really cool to bring it all back to where it started.”

The Chase Rice Back to College Tour continues tomorrow at Southern Illinois University and concludes at the University of New Hampshire on May 7, after which Rice will continue to perform select headlining shows and festivals throughout the summer. Upcoming dates are as follows:
