Carrie Underwood gushed about her son with NHL player Mike Fisher. According to a report from People, Carrie describes her son, Isaiah Fisher, as a happy baby.
“I expected the worst. I’ve never been around babies before, to be honest, but he’s so laid back!” Carrie Underwood said about her son.
The 32-year-old former winner of “American Idol” shared how she feels about motherhood.
“It surprised me that it’s a little easier than I thought it was going to be,” she said.
“I think I just expected, like, screaming, crying baby all the time, and he’s just happy and smiley and gorgeous … He’s a morning baby.”
“He is smiley and laugh-y and happy and cuddly and that hour, the first hour he’s awake, is just the best,” Carrie said about her son.
Carrie shined at last Wednesday’s CMT Awards, and she said her son is her inspiration.
“This is my first awards show since little Isaiah has been in the world,” she said.
“I’m sure he’s napping on the bus right now, but I should definitely say that he has already inspired me so much as well as has my husband, Mike,” she said.
