Burning House” singer Cam and her fiancé Adam Weaver are married.

The California natives wed in an intimate ceremony in the desert town of Joshua Tree, California on Saturday evening, her rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

The bride chose a Jenny Packham gown for the big day.

“It reminds me of a dress from the ’30s and I love things from the ’30s,” she said.

Cam walked down the aisle to the sounds of a mariachi band playing “Bésame Mucho” in front of 140 guests.

The couple shared their first dance to Miranda Lambert‘s version of “Oklahoma Sky” because it reminds them of a date they shared, spending time on the California coast. “It’s just one of the most beautiful songs,” says Cam. “It has such an atmosphere to it. It just pulls you in and both of us loved it.”

The most exciting moment for the bride, 31, was no doubt seeing her groom at the altar (the pair opted not to see each other before the wedding!) but “the second biggest moment is the arrival of the churro,” Cam jokes about the wedding’s Mexican-themed cuisine.

“Adam and I are obsessed with churros.”

After the honeymoon in Tokyo and Bali, Cam says she’s really looking forward to starting married life with Weaver, 30, a commercial real estate agent.

“It’s just fun saying someone’s your husband! I’m excited for our life together, encouraging each other and getting more dogs.”

Cam Interviews Dolly Parton on the Front Porch

cam and dolly.jpg

Cam got the chance to chat with the legendary Dolly Parton from East Tennessee in the newest installment of Cracker Barrel’s Front Porch series, about songwriting, the Imagination Library and what Dolly hopes her legacy will be, plus Cam also discovers the two have a signature hue in common.

“Yellow roses are her thing, she loves yellow! It can be her color forever,” the California native laughs. “It was insane! It’s crazy to meet someone that’s such a legend, for so many years, and so smart.”

Watch the two also play a rousing game of “Dolly or Not Dolly,” as they try to guess whether a witty one-liner belongs to the “I Will Always Love You’ songstress or to someone else.

On August 24, 2016 rising female artist Skye Claire (Mandolin Entertainment) and Sony Music Nashville recording artist CAM performed for the graduating class of the ninth annual Rising Through The Ranks seminar at a private dinner in Nashville, TN.  The annual event, presented by The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), in conjunction with Broadcast Music, Inc. ® (BMI) ®, and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW), welcomed over twenty scholarship recipients from around the country to Music City.

The night was a highlight for the women in attendance. While enjoying the company of new friends, and radio colleagues, Claire performed her brand new single, “Pawn Shop,” which is impacting radio on September 15th.

“Rising Through the Ranks (RTTR) was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget. I was able to learn so much from some of the most inspiring and motivated women in radio. Being a part of the RTTR class of 2016 as a BMI songwriter helped me to grow as a person and an artist”. – Skye Claire

The two-day seminar annually held at BMI Nashville’s offices, focuses on motivating women in the radio industry and provides them with the tools and management techniques to help them carry out their role to the best of their ability.  The classes cover everything from hiring and firing to branding and problem solving. Specific topics include: Managing Multi-Generational Employees, The Role of Today’s Radio Manager and Building Your Personal Brand.
