Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam Partners with St. Jude

gulf coast jam

Organizers of the 4th Annual Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam country music festival, set for September 2-4, 2016 in beautiful Panama City Beach, FL, are proud to announce a commitment to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. For every ticket sold, $2.00 will go to support the lifesaving work being done at St. Jude.

“I love St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the work that they do and the fact that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food,” said Rendy Lovelady, Executive Producer of Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam. “We’re excited about this partnership, because it allows us to bring awareness and help raise the necessary funds to save the lives of these precious kids.”

Over 75,000 music fans are expected to converge on Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach for the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam to see headliners Eric Church, Brad Paisley and Jake Owen.

Rounding out the lineup for this year’s extravaganza are: Brett Eldredge, The Band Perry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Granger Smith, Sara Evans, Tyler Farr, A Thousand Horses, Charles Esten, Neal McCoy, Mark Chesnutt, Darryl Worley, Colt Ford, Dylan Scott, Craig Campbell, Kirstie Lovelady, Gal Friday Band and Chris Cavanaugh.

Three-day tickets begin at $149 and various ticket packages can be viewed here. A variety of Preferred Lodging Packages in one of the country’s most beautiful family beach locations are also available.

Brad Paisley Welcomes Music Legend John Fogerty For Surprise Performance at Grand Ole Opry

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty joins Brad Paisley on the Grand Ole Opry Tuesday night

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty joins Brad Paisley on
the Grand Ole Opry Tuesday night

Grand Ole Opry member Brad Paisley surprised the audience at Tuesday night’s Grand Ole Opry, welcoming friend and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty for the music legend’s Opry debut. After performing three of his own hits, Paisley introduced the crowd to Fogerty, saying to the audience, “We’re going to play some music and you’re going to know these songs, so sing along.” The crowd did just that, joining Paisley and Fogerty first on the American anthem “Lookin’ Out My Back Door” then on Fogerty’s 1985 hit “Centerfield.”

“I do want to tell you what an honor it is to be standing here,” Fogerty said between songs, to which Paisley assured him, “The honor is ours.”

Called back on the Opry stage for an encore after their first collaborations, Paisley laughed when asking Fogerty, “Do you know any more songs?” The pair then ended the night with a standing ovation performance of “Proud Mary.”

Among those coming soon to the Opry stage are Vince Gill, Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts, Chris Janson, Kelsea Ballerini, David Nail, Lauren Alaina, Chris Young, Craig Morgan, Dustin Lynch, Charles Esten, and many more. Among artists scheduled to make their Grand Ole Opry debuts are Tara Thompson, Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne.
