Brad Paisley Debuts New Music Video on My Country Nation

My Country Nation is exclusively hosting the World Premiere of Country Nation – a new music video from Arista Nashville recording artist Brad Paisley – today at With the storytelling achieved through music as only Paisley can, his video showcases an authentic look at the people who go hand-in-hand with his vision for the song: real people who thread and hold our Nation together. A clip of the video was leaked earlier today by FOX News, proving that once again, Paisley is up to his shenanigans.

“With our announcement of My Country Nation today, I can’t think of a better platform to debut the video for Country Nation,” said Paisley. “It’s what my album represents and what programming on the channel is all about.”

Country Nation is one of the songs featured on Paisley’s new album, Moonshine in the Trunk, releasing on August 25th. The Country Nation video is directed by TK McKamy (Lady Antebellum, Hayden Panettiere, Thomas Rhett, Maddie & Tae, and RaeLynn). McKamy traveled from California to Tennessee to Florida documenting real people who are all fans of the Nation who collectively create My Country Nation.

“We were initially going to release the video tomorrow on but after a leak to FOX News we are releasing the video today,” said Tom Forrest, President of Taillight.

Brad Paisley Continues Album Leaks In An Out of This World Way

Brad Paisley has been leaking songs from his new album, Moonshine in the Trunk, via Twitter for the past couple of weeks and he took it to a new level as he made a trip to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida yesterday to launch a new song from a historic launch pad. late 1960s, Pads A and B at Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39 have served as backdrops for ca’s most significant manned space flight endeavors — Apollo, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz and space shuttle.

Paisley stood on the surface of Launch Pad 39B, where a Saturn V rocket once launched three American astronauts to the moon, as he sent out a tweet to leak, “American Flag on the Moon.” In the background was historic Launch Pad 39A, where the first men who landed on the moon left Earth. Paisley exchanged social media posts about the song with NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman, a current resident of the International Space Station.

Paisley tweeted, “I’m at @NASA’s Apollo launch pad in FL! Leaking my new song, American Flag on the Moon. Take a listen @Astro_Reid” and included a link to the song.

A quick response Wiseman followed, “Hold on @BradPaisley, we don’t usually like leaks at the launch pad,” and attached a photo of Florida from his vantage point in orbit.

“Thanks for the amazing view,” the singer wrote in reply. “Hope you love the song!”

“And here is Florida from the ground @astro_reid – blocked by a very very large building” Paisley tweeted with a photo of himself in front of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB).

“@BradPaisley Great selfie. Enjoy the humid ocean air and rich history at the Cape. BTW, just listened to your song on the #ISS – thanks!!”

In “American Flag on the Moon,” Paisley dares Americans to dream again and “believe in impossible things.” “I mean, after all, there’s an American flag on the moon,” he sings.

Moonshine in the Trunk will be released next Monday, August 25!

The Recording Academy has issued the following statement.

Five-time GRAMMY® winner Robin Williams was a prolific actor and stand-up comedian who literally did it all: television, film, theater, and live performances. After gaining fame in his breakout role of Mork in the television show “Mork & Mindy,” Williams became a household name. His improvisational skills and comedic timing were unmatched, and he quickly established himself as a larger-than-life presence on screen and on stage. His roles in classic movies such as Mrs. Doubtfire, The Birdcage, and Jumanji showcased his comedic chops, while his versatility was reflected in dramatic films such as Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King, and Good Will Hunting, which earned him an Academy Award® for Best Supporting Actor. Although Williams is most recognized for his film and television work, he has received GRAMMYs for Best Comedy Recording three times, Best Recording for Children, and Best Spoken Comedy Album. Additionally, his heart matched his expansive talent, as he often gave generously — both financially and personally — to a number of worthwhile causes throughout his life. Our entertainment community has lost an immense talent, a true inspiration, and a creative genius, and his remarkable legacy will forever be immortalized in his vast and impressive body of work. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family, friends, and his countless fans around the world who will continue to honor his memory through laughter.
