Alan Jackson is Ready to ‘Rock The South’ for Charity

“Rock The South” — the Southeast region’s fastest growing festival taking place June 19-20 in Cullman, AL — has donated more than $150,000 to local charitable organizations since it’s 2012 origin and continues investing into its community by adding two new beneficiaries: “The Link” of Cullman County and “No White Flags for Cancer.”

Dawn Owens, Founder/Exec. Director of “The Link” of Cullman County says,

“We’re so proud to partner with ‘Rock the South’ because this event reminds us how the April 27th tornado disaster made us stronger, and unity is a primary focus in what we do as ‘The Link’ — we’re better when we work together.”

“From the beginning, ‘Rock the South’ has been about overcoming obstacles and giving back,” says Jay Barker, Co-founder of “Rock The South.” “This year, we’re excited to focus on ‘The Link’ of Cullman County and ‘No White Flags for Cancer’ to continue helping those in need.”

“‘Rock The South’ has become a rallying point for local charities long after tornado rebuilding efforts have concluded,” says Jamie Lynn Lumbersom, Director of Marketing for “No White Flags for Cancer.” “Through the event’s proceeds, we’re able to offer help to local families and children fighting medical battles — It’s become a celebration of community and giving back.”

This year’s festival lineup includes Alan Jackson, Brantley Gilbert, Sara Evans, Blackberry Smoke, Eric Paslay, Jon Pardi, Travis Tritt, Tyler Farr, Corey Smith, Chris Weaver Band, Big Smo, Downsouth, Dee Jay Silver, with more to be announced in coming weeks.

Festival goers can take advantage of Early-Bird ticket pricing ($49-$449) through Thurs., Apr. 30. For more information, visit, and follow the festival on its socials here:
