Tonight’s American Country Awards will include 19 awards voted by fans and a 20th special honor going to Alabama. Plus there are performances from Blake Shelton, Pistol Annies, Thompson Square, Toby Keith, Chris Young, Eli Young Band and The Band Perry. Fox says there will be “special appearances” from Miranda Lambert, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and others.

• Ha!!! Trace Adkins opening with Badonkadonk!  Nuttin Makes me wanna shake it more!  Wait…not it’s “Just Fishin’” Love this song.  It has super sentimental meaning to me…Gosh, I love Trace Adkins…Although, I think the sound is a tad off.
• Ha! Kristen Chenoweth is supposed to keep Trace in line…cha right…
• I have a feeling we just wittnessed a once in a lifetime occurrence of Trace singing “Oklahoma”
• Jordan Sparks & Josh Turner presenting the first award.  Single of the Year by a Female Artist Winner is: Carrie Underwood for “Mama’s Song”
• The Band Perry performing … I’m having a dejavu moment here “All My Life”
• Artist of the Decade Countdown #10 Keith Urban #9 Brad Paisley #8 Garth Brooks #7 Rascal Flatts
• Bill Engvall & Lauren Alaina presenting award for  Single of the Year winner is: Chris Young “Voices” ... He’s performing which means he already knew he won…I don’t love that.
• Breakthrough Artist of the Year also goes to Chris Young
• Music video of the Year is Blake Shelton for “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking” and Music Video for a Male Artist
• Eli Young Band performed “Crazy Girl”
• The Winner for Album of the Year for “My Kinda Party- Jason Aldean
• Pistol Annies sound FANTASTIC singing “Hell on Heels”
• Rodney Carrington and Jane Dear Girls presenting the award for New Artist of the Year Award.    The award goes to… Scotty McCreery
• The ladies go wild over Scotty.  He’s performing “The Trouble with Girls”
• Artist of the Decade #5 Alan Jackson
• Single of the Year by a Group goes to Thompson Square for “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not”
• Thompson Square super cute and performing the ACA Single of the Year by a Group.
• Thompson Square also took home Single of the Year by a New Artist and Music Video of the Year by a new Artist. 
• Artist of the Decade #4 is George Strait
• Blake Shelton performing “God My Gave Me You”.    YUMMY!  That Miranda Lambert is a lucky girl. 
• Artist of the Decade #3 is Kenny Chesney
• Female Artist of the Year goes to….Carrie Underwood.  Carrie promising fans an amazing 2012.
• Kristen Chenoweth performing “I Do”
• Tim McGraw take the #2 spot for Artist of the Decade.
• Brad Paisley takes home Male Artist of the Year and introduces the amazing Alabama!
• Alabama receiving the Greatest Hits Award tonight.
• Miranda Lambert presents Jason Aldean  with the Artist of the Year Award. Jason also takes home Touring Artist of the Year, Album of the Year by a Male Artist, Single of the Year by a Male Artist and  Music Video of the Year by a Group or Collaboration for “Don’t You Wanna Stay with Kelly Clarkson. 
• The #1 Artist of the Decade Award goes to Toby Keith and closes the show with Red Solo Cup.
