There’s a TON of country on TV tomorrow! Set those DVRs!
Wednesday (2/8): The Band Perry, Ellen DeGeneres Show (syndicated); Miranda Lambert, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC); Dierks Bentley, Late Show With David Letterman (CBS); Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, The View (ABC).
Miranda Lambert has had a rough few weeks with the passing of Blake’s father, a childhood friend and then her beloved dog, Dixie. I know she has been in the thoughts and prayers of Ran fans everywhere.
Miranda returned to the stage in Huntsville and brought the house down with her stripped down performance of “House That Built Me.” Being brought to tears she took a break at the end and let the audience take over the lyrics.
She later tweeted:
When I’m happy you are happy with me. When I’m mad ur mad. U fans are my friends and have changed me 4 the better. I can’t ever repay u… But I promise to keep doing what I do if y’all do. I really appreciate all of you and I mean it. Blessings!

Country music took over the Super Bowl yesterday with Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert signing ”America the Beautiful” and Kelly Clarkson belting out an impressive Star Spangled Banner.
