Country music stars gave the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters a warm welcome Saturday at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. In town for a double-header, the team has been entertaining millions of fans around the globe for the past 92 consecutive years.

Longtime Harlem Globetrotters fan Trisha Yearwood chatted pre-game with team members Moose Weekes, Hoops Green and Bull Bullard, fondly sharing memories about following the team over the years. They had lots of laughs and she even got to show off her skills spinning a basketball on her finger.

They talked quite a bit about cooking, too. Who knows, maybe we’ll see the Harlem Globetrotters as guests on her Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.

Lee Brice, with his wife Sara, sons Takado and Ryker and daughter Trulee, attended the matinee game. The family enjoyed an afternoon of basketball and entertainment featuring the Harlem Globetrotters’ incredible athleticism, theater and rib-splitting comedy routines.

At halftime, Lee and his family attended a meet-and-greet with the players where they posed for photos and had a blast interacting with the aforementioned team members and Globetrotters star Ant Atkinson.

John Rich attended the evening game with his son Cash’s basketball team. Wearing an official Harlem Globetrotters uniform jersey and cap, Rich, his son and the team posed for a photo with the Globetrotters on the court.
