Little by little Carrie Underwood is allowing fans to know a bit more about that scary fall she took in November.

Earlier this month we learned that Carrie had to get 40-50 stitches in her face after the tumble and earlier today she took to her Instagram page to give us an update on her wrist saying,

Last check up on the old wrist this morning!! Thanks, Dr. Wurth and my PT angel, Renee, a.k.a. “Bulldog” for fixing me up!!! 😉 I’m good to go!

That is one series piece of metal attached to Carrie’s wrist but it looks like she is healing up nicely.

Carrie will open NBC’s Super Bowl LII on February 4 with a video filmed last year for her anthemic song, “The Champion,” released globally on 1/12. Carrie, who has been the face and voice of NBC’s Sunday Night Football show open for the last five seasons, co-wrote “The Champion” last year with fellow songwriters Brett James, Chris DeStefano, and Christopher Bridges PKA Ludacris, who Underwood asked to collaborate on the event song produced by Jim Jonsin. NBC Sports will also incorporate “The Champion” into its coverage of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
