In collaboration with CMT’s Next Women of Country, Bailey Bryan joined celebrated songwriters Nicolle Galyon and Hailey Whitters for a writing session at YouTube’s Pop Up Space in Nashville, where the three crafted “All Of The Above,” an original song dedicated to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. The process is documented in a three-part video series on Bryan’s YouTube channel.
“Songwriting is sort of just something I’ve always done, but I became really serious about it when I got my first guitar at 13,” said Bryan. “There is something so magical about walking into a room with co-writers, who are sometimes strangers, and walking away with a song that is a piece of each of you. So, it is really neat that I got to sit down with Nicolle and Hailey – two crazy talented songwriters – and share a little insight to what makes the process so special to me, plus honor all the amazing work Children’s Miracle Network does.”
19-year-old Bryan, who fell in love with storytelling and songwriting at an early age, penned every track on SO FAR, her debut EP which is “filled with rich songwriting” (New York Times). Since Billboard’s “Chartbreaker” first arrived on the scene with her debut single “Own It,” critics have prepared the world to “fall in love” (PEOPLE) with the singer/songwriter. Touted by Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly as an “artist you need to know,” Bryan’s debut EP SO FAR (300 Entertainment/Warner Music Nashville) has been hailed as “excellent, infectious” (New York Times). Bryan is continuing to introduce her new music to live audiences across the country and is currently on tour with Chris Lane, with a stop this weekend in Indianapolis (11/25). The tour follows recent runs with Kane Brown, Dan + Shay and major summer festivals including Stagecoach, CMA Fest, LakeShake, Faster Horses, Watershed and more.
