Shania Twain announced her tour dates for the 2018 ‘Now” tour and I couldn’t be more excited!!!! But when tickets go on sale later this week for the tour Nashville is being left in the dark!
Shania’s manager, Scott Rodger, tells Billboard magazine Shania will play the Bridgestone Arena on July 21 but tickets won’t go on sale until December. Rodger says it’s because of a clause in Garth Brooks’ contract that prevents any other country acts from selling tickets until then.
Garth has no concerts booked there but it looks like he probably will. Garth has said in interviews and FB live chats that his World Tour will end with a finale in Nashville.
Rodger tried to change the minds of arena officials by pointing out Shania rarely tours and even by trying to sell her as an adult-contemporary singer rather than a country one, but no dice. Garths’ touring promoter says he doesn’t discuss their private business with any venue.
