Jamgrass stalwarts the Infamous Stringdusters will wrap up a busy 2017 with special New Year’s shows in Berkeley, CA and Aspen, CO. The band will perform two co-headlining shows at UC Berkeley with Keller Williams and Grateful Grass (12/28) and Leftover Salmon (12/29). They’ll then head to Aspen for a special “evening with” NYE performance to ring in 2018. Doors open at 7:45 PM with an open bar (wine and beer) as well as light appetizers until the concert starts at 9:30 PM. A midnight complimentary champagne toast during the ball drop will follow the concert.
In a recent live review, No Depression hailed their “stunning display of thoughtful musicianship” and said, “This band represents the pinnacle of jamgrass today, and the level of detail put into their 90-minute set was astounding.” Of the California concerts, the band’s Jeremy Garrett says, “So stoked for the Berkeley shows! The birthplace of my 103-year-old fiddle and my own home birth state. I know there is going to be some special picking energy in the air because of that. I’ve had the chance to sit in with Salmon a bit over the last few months and they are killing what they do harder than ever before. They are all playing at the top of their game and a fantastic crew of good people as well. The Dusters have played with Keller many times now and the Grateful Grass is always a treat. I know we are all looking forward to these shows and hope you can join us!”
