Superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts celebrated a sentimental 17th career No. 1 for “Yours If You Want It” in Nashville yesterday (8/17), marking back-to-back No. 1 singles for the trio following their previous summer anthem “I Like The Sound Of That.” Co-written by Jonathan Singleton (ASCAP) and the late Andrew Dorff (BMI), the trio gathered industry friends and family, including Dorff’s father Steve and brother Stephen, for a fitting tribute to Dorff as attendees reflected on the monumental accomplishment.
Recently spotlighted by Billboard for “placing singles on the Billboard Country Singles chart since 2000, and there seems to be no slowdown in sight for Rascal Flatts,” the vocal group is following up their recent chart-topper with their new single “Back To Us” which impacts Country Radio on Monday (8/21). Co-written by Cary Barlowe, David Hodges and Josh Thompson, the harmony-led song is the title track taken from their tenth studio album (Big Machine Records), which was heralded by Rolling Stone Country as the “centerpiece of the LP.”
Known as one of the hottest-selling touring acts in any genre with over 10 million tickets sold, Rascal Flatts recently revealed they will headline a limited Las Vegas engagement, “Rascal Flatts – Night to Shine,” presented by SiriusXM, in The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian® Las Vegas October 6-21. The trio continues to garner praise following the release of their tenth studio album BACK TO US, with Rolling Stone declaring “seventeen years into an indisputably influential career… the band is returning to their sweet spot.” As the best-selling Country vocal group of the past decade, Rascal Flatts has sold over 23.4 million albums, over 33.7 million digital downloads worldwide, as well as earning over 40 trophies from the ACA, ACM, AMA, CMA, People’s Choice and more, also making them the most awarded Country group of the past decade.
