As this weekend is Father’s Day, Trisha Yearwood taped a never-before, behind the scenes episode of T’s Coffee Talk where she gave viewers a special look into her recent trip to New York City. The morning started off with an event at Williams Sonoma that celebrated her Williams Sonoma food collaboration, as well as the wrap of filming season 10 of Trisha’s Southern Kitchen. Trisha kicked the event off with a press conference, followed by a book signing where fans made special cameo appearances.
The next stop was at the legendary Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center where Trisha was in the middle of sound check for her performance at the Fragrance Foundation Awards that night. The episode fast-forwarded to the red carpet where she gracefully took interviews and posed for pictures. The country star then delivered a powerful rendition of “Over the Rainbow” in front of a crowd that included the leading fragrance industry executives.
At midnight, Trisha finally finished the day to head home to her honey and wished everyone a very happy Father’s Day weekend. Today’s encore episode of Trisha’s Southern Kitchen is in honor of the amazing men and fathers in Trisha and her sister Beth’s lives. The sisters cooked up a few of their favorite dishes, including their daddy’s Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, Garth’s personal creation, Taco Pizza, and for Beth’s husband, John, German Chocolate Cake with Butterscotch Frosting.
