Ana Cristina Cash is relatively new to the Nashville music scene, but her career started at an early age. Originally from Miami, Florida, she was signed to Sony Music Latin at just 16 years old. Since then, she has performed at the White House and for multiple world ambassadors.
In 2014, her musical and personal journey began to change. She met John Carter Cash at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and the two became fast friends. They began dating and just got married in October 2016.
Love brought Ana Cristina Cash to Nashville and “The Tough Love EP” is the title of her project that comes out on March 14. The title was inspired by the lead single “Tough Love Woman,” a bluesy track co-written by Cash and Shawn Camp.
While working on the project, she had a new mindset compared to her early Spanish language album.
“I make sure it’s something I really want to tell the world, that it means something to me.”
The Tough Love EP is about female empowerment and strength, pulling together pieces of her life and stories that she’s created.
Growing up as the daughter of Cuban immigrants, she is passionate about dance, food, and of course, music. She has quickly grown to love the Nashville cultural scene.
“I love Southern food, I love hot chicken. And if I’m not performing shows, I love watching shows.”
