This Saturday (2/18), Trisha Yearwood took her T’s Coffee Talk Facebook Live chat to Edmonton, Alberta where she was preparing for back-to-back performances at Rogers Place. Trisha was joined by her tour photographer, Ben, and good friend Mandy who never fails to disappoint with her comedic presence. The girls were sporting bright orange camo jackets, which Mandy paired with Trisha Yearwood oven mits for her gloves. One lucky viewer ended up winning the pair of mits for the coffee talk weekly giveaway.
The group started the chat at a local Tim Hortons to grab a cup of joe for their stroll back to the venue. Ben opted for two doughnuts which the girls joked made them gain weight just being around. Along the way, Australia came up as a topic of discussion which prompted a hilarious memory. Trisha told a story about a time when she changed her Siri to have an Australian accent and ended up having to speak with an accent for the navigation to understand her – This brought a wave of laughs from the group!
Trisha ended the chat at the iconic, bronze Wayne Gretzky Stanley Cup statue. As they were taping live in Alberta, Trisha’s weekly Food Network show Trisha’s Southern Kitchen had already aired. This week’s episode was titled “Picture This!” and was filled with Trisha’s favorite comfort foods; Cheeseburgers with Garlic Mayo, Fried Pickles and Onion Rings, a Vanilla Orange Tart and Sparkling Cherry Lime Soda. Viewers also got to see a special Beyoncé moment when Trisha posed behind a fan in the kitchen – it was definitely not one to miss!
