After teasing fans with an introduction video via Sounds Like Nashville on Monday (2/6), Parmalee officially released the first video in a series called “The Country Dictionary: Parmalisms” yesterday (2/8).

Parmalee are known for having their own language that often leaves fans wondering, “What did they just say?” A combination of eastern N.C. dialect and slang words they learned from generations before them, Parmalee has created a language of their own. The slang terms, or “Parmalisms,” now have a dictionary of their own in Parmalee’s mini-series, “The Country Dictionary.” Tune-in to their Facebook each week as the band members define a new “Parmalism” and it’s origin.
