Trisha Yearwood and friends Lisa, Kim and Mandy dined in the “Elvis Booth” at the famous Arcade Restaurant in Memphis, TN before her back-to-back performances at the FedEx Forum on The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood. Instead of Elvis’ staple peanut butter and banana sandwiches, the gals opted for coffee, bloody marys, a pile of biscuits, and all-star breakfast combos. Trisha and Mandy sported gold Elvis aviator shades from Graceland, which were later given away to a Facebook Live viewer along with an Arcade Restaurant coffee mug.

The chat was all things Elvis, from favorite songs to childhood memories and impersonations. Trisha admits she wrote a love letter to Elvis when she was 5 asking him to marry her, but was crushed to never receive a response. She had the opportunity to visit the archives at Graceland where they store every note The King ever received. When the archivists couldn’t find her note, Trisha decided that her mom likely “forgot” to send it to Graceland. The women also went around the table to recount their favorite Elvis song, with Trisha’s being “If I Could Dream” for its powerful lyrics and sound.

Before breakfast was served, the group talked about their favorite aspects of Memphis. Trisha fell in love after her first time visiting on tour and her favorite aspects are the music and food, the historic Graceland and the Peabody Hotel, with its trademark duck march through the hotel twice a day.

The mouth-watering breakfast arrives and the country star ends the chat so that viewers can tune into an encore episode of “Biscuit Lovin” on her weekly Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.
