It’s been more than 12 years since Adam Craig came to Nashville from his hometown of Tenino, Washington, just south of Seattle. And on Saturday night, the small-town singer-songwriter checked off a big item on his bucket list – playing the Grand Ole Opry.
Adam has written songs for Jason Aldean, Dustin Lynch, and more, but Saturday was his night to shine. His family flew to Nashville from Washington and his friends showed up in droves to support him as he took the sacred stage for the first time.
He was overcome with emotion as Opry member John Conlee welcomed him and his band members to the stage. He performed his new single “Just a Phase” and his previous single “Reckon,” both of which appear on his debut self-titled EP available now.
It looks like Adam’s memorable moments are just beginning – he’ll be joining Luke Bryan on select dates of the “Kill the Lights” and “Huntin, Fishin, and Lovin’ Every Day” tours this year.
