Luke Bryan will be performing The National Anthem at Super Bowl on February 5th in Houston. The singer is obviously pumped to play the biggest crowd ever, but it’s nerve-wracking too. According to People, he’s ready for the challenge.
Is the anthem challenging? Yes. Is it nerve-wracking? Yes. But I moved to Nashville to follow my dreams and singing the national anthem on that stage doesn’t get any bigger, says Luke. “I never served in the military — that’s something I wish I had had the opportunity to do,” he says, “but I feel like this is my way of honoring my country. It’s a little chance to serve.”
Joining Luke in the Super Bowl entertainment will be half-time performer Lady GaGa.
