According to Breastcancer.org, in 2016 there are more than 2.8 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S. This staggering statistic was the inspiration for the young Cold River Records’ recording artist, Drew Baldridge, to team up with Premiere Networks and Super 8 for the launch of “Rebound from Cancer”–a month-long fundraising campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. During the month of October, limited edition T-shirts will be sold online at www.drewbaldridgemusic.com and at shows with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation.
The “Rebound from Cancer” promotion in an extension of the Artist Merchandise Program, which was created by Premiere Networks and Super 8 as a way for the next generation of Country music stars to kick off their tour merchandise business with financial support from a sponsor.
“I am proud to team up with Super 8 and raise money for such an important cause,” said Baldridge. “I am still growing my platform as an artist, but I travel and meet people all over the country every week. Raising money and creating awareness is something I am honored to do. It takes everyone doing something every day for our greater good, and this is one way for me to do my part.”
Concurrently, October is the month when Baldridge releases, “Rebound,” his second single off his album debut, Dirt On Us. Co-written by Baldridge, Emily Weisband and Simone Simonton, “Rebound” has garnered over nine million streams and will go for radio adds on October 10. The music video for the new single can be viewed on CMT and CMT.com.
Fans can catch Baldridge out in the midwest this week, performing in Minneapolis, MN on 10/6, Chicago, IL on 10/7 and Milwaukee, WI on 10/8. For more information on Drew Baldridge, visit www.drewbaldridgemusic.com.
