The Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament (MRLGT) has announced that Keith Urban has signed on as the Presenting Sponsor of the 30th annual charity event. The tournament, which will take place on Monday, August 15th at Old Natchez Country Club in Nashville, will once again benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee (UCPMidTN) and is also sponsored by ASCAP, City National Bank, Tim McGraw and more.
Keith Urban’s generous contribution to the MRLGT and UCPMidTN adds to the list of numerous charities that the country music superstar has long supported. His “All For The Hall” benefit concerts for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum have raised nearly $3.4 million. He is the first Ambassador of the CMA Foundation, is an advisory board member at the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and is a longtime supporter of The Mr. Holland’s Opus Fund and The Grammy Foundation. In 2013, he introduced his new URBAN™ Guitar Collection via HSN, proceeds of which still go to benefit both the Grammy Foundation and Mr. Holland’s Opus Fund.
Registration for the tournament opened in early July, with more details to be announced soon. Team space is limited and the event sells out quickly each year. Participants are encouraged to compete in the traditional team costume contest. For more information about the MRLGT, please contact MRLGTnash@gmail.com.
